He looks like a badass. I hope he adopts that persona.

Anybody heading to the game in Worcester tonight? Thinking of taking the drive from Providence

3 points for Spooner last night.

Anyone else getting really excited about this kid?

Spooner has 9 goals and 21 assists in 34 games. Almost a point per game.

Very good for a rookie. Reminds me of Krejci in the AHL.

I thought he would play two years in Providence but he might be in the NHL sooner.

Spooner's development could give the Bruins the luxury of moving Krejci for a D-man or top RW to replace Horton at season's end.
It would also help the bottom line as the cap ceiling reduces to 64.

PBruins with a 2-0 win in Woosta tonight. Svedberg 26/26 and Cunningham netted the GWG 2:33 into the contest.

And how would you propose replacing Krejci?

I prefer to move in baby steps. Let's see if he can replace Peverley first.

Lets replace our best players first instead of our crappy ones.

Now that Dougie is awesome, trade Chara the big chooch for a draft pick.
We got a Subban, so lets trade Rask for O'Rielly to replace Bergeron and trade Bergeron for Kassian to replace Lucic and trade Lucic for a #1 pick draft Seth Jones and then have Seth Jones replace Dougie. And trade Dougie.

If all things work out, Spooner and Knight will be the replacements for Peverley and Kelly. We keep our top 6 intact, trim the fat off the salary cap, and usher in a couple of talented youth with lighter salary restraints.

Unfortunately, I donít see Knight making the team next year. This will ruffle a few feathers, but the kid lost almost an entire year of development due to injuries and I think this will hinder his development in the short term (2013-14 season). Spooner on the other hand has been one of the most impressive rookies in the AHL, eighth in rookie scoring (six players ahead of him played more games) and four of the eight are older than Spooner. I think he has earned a chance to play this year (if only a taste) with a real chance to make the club next year. Hell, I could see Spooner becoming the third line left wing this season.

What I think is realistic is Spooner makes the team next season, Hamilton replaces Ference and Thornton retires or plays in Providence with MacDermid taking his place. Love Shawn Thornton but letís be realistic, heís 35 now and thatís pretty old for a player in his role.

Every time I see or hear about Zach Hamill, I remember that the Bruins (supposedly liked) and could have drafted, Logan Couture.

Then I weep uncontrollably for 5 minutes.

The only thing Zach had was that he looked like a sloth. Poor thing.
