Makes all of the sense in the world, because there are ~20 Lokomotiv trained (and some even Rybinsk born) kids born 95 and younger on various MHLB rosters.
Anybody has seen Ilya Sorokin play? He was rookie in MHL, 95 born with good numbers, has also made debut for MNK. Dont think he has been apart of NTs. Hopefully he gets a few more starts in with MNK before the season is over. If he plays I will watch.
Can anyone tell me anything about Valeri Vasilyev? I know he's spent the majority of his time in the MHL playing for Spartak before getting to play a few in the KHL. Flyers took him in the 7th but i know he was ranked much higher and i was wondering if anyone could give me some insight. It would be greatly appreciated.
another guy who was forced by agent to play in usa/can. He said he had ideal conditions at home, but scouting in US is better. The hell, manipulation with kids. http://rsport.ru/interview/20130205/643483047.html
Maybe a bit later, maybe it was discussed earlier. here
Czech based new club - Vajgarské šťuky - located in Jindrichuv Hradec wants to join MHL A next season. Approval of czech federation is expected this month.
And now the interesting part. The guy, who is behind scenes of this project, wanted to create this club in Slovakia last summer (after Tatranski Vlci´s collapse). He did not get a support of slovak hockey federation. The club - Patriot Budapest which the guy helped to create with others - moved to Hungary.

he seems to be ok with the current situation for now, even though, I highly disapprove of it.
I like this tv show as way how to promote junior and women hockey. It is a show of Krasnoyarsk tv, junior of Sokol - playing MHL B meets with girls in non-hockey competition of 10 episodes. As I understand, correct me, bandy is more popular/traditional than ice hockey in the city.
MHL B playoffs started yesterday, LM-2 soundly beat Omsk's deepest reserves (well those 15 kids which were allowed in the country anyway). Also interesting what's the point of this team, logically cream of the crop of Omsk's future plays in MHL, but the why most of the promising younger players spent all season in Russian U16 league when they easily could of made this MHL B roster? I can't see anyone of this roster mainstays becoming a serious hockey player, let alone a help to the Avangard. Who pays for this teams ventures?
Also has to praise (obvious Latvian bias here), HK Juniors players for a narrow loss to Kurgan Dinosaurs by two goals, yes they mustered only 7 ( ) shots on goal, but the age difference between these two rosters is as spectacular as you can imagine in this league. Yes, Bars Kazan is younger and doing good indeed, but then again it's freaking Kazan and they are not icing future '"lyubitel" league players like Omsk, these Tatar club kids have a serious future in hockey.
