Proposal for Discussion: Cloutier, Morrison + for Frolov +?
This is very unreliable and I'm not sure if this site stills minds these kinds of posts (I can't find anywhere where it's still prohibited and I've seen other posts like this). Take it for what it's worth...

Take anything from canucks.com with a grain of salt. It is full of fake rumors, and questionable posters. I haven't really heard anyone from LA actually claim to have heard this report, so I figure it is some Canuck fans pipedream or something.

Yeah, I know, but I feel that the fans should know all rumors. Besides, this strikes me as exactly the kind of deal that Lombardi would make. It'd take a really keen Canucks fan to know that Lombardi wants another goaltender and top-6 forward and isn't high on Frolov.
yeah it's real. it's like a news type station. can't remember EVER hearing any hockey stuff on there though. but i really.......REALLY hope that is just some garbage rumor.

Not a great deal...I really hope DL isn't dumb enough to think that Cloutier is an upgrade over Garon.
Well, at least with this supposed deal, Garon isn't leaving as part of the package, so it's not quite an "upgrade." Garon/Cloutier wouldn't be so bad of a tandem (though I'd rather stick with Garon/LaBarbera, myself).
What KNX 1070 is doing reporting hockey rumors is a surprise to me being from LA. Hell, even mentioning anything NHL on that station is a miracle. I'm curious on what their source is.
Our own KingofCrunk has posted on the Van board here at hfboards, confirming that he heard that station report the rumor.

No, that's wouldn't be all that bad.
However, I agree about Labarbera and Garon...a good price for a duo of their calibre (I'm sure Herby will have some sort of barb for this comment).
1. That is a real radio station.
2. A bunch of us at LGK listened to the sports report this morning and there was nothing there.
3. No way in hell Lombardi makes that trade. We already have (1.) a $hitty goalie, and (2.) a top-line center that should be on the second line. Why would Deano trade our best young player for something we already have?!
