Lose 4-2.

We come out aggressive and go up in the first 2-0. Lindy continues to push the aggressive play into the 2nd, and Myers makes 2 bonehead pinches. Its now 2-2. Lindy says in the 3rd, lets sit back and wait for the mistake (ie. playing for the loser point). We wait, but the mistake doesn't come and Sens get the go ahead and then the empty net.

5-0 Ottawa in a sleep walk game, again.

Ottawa doesn't have any bad blood against us or plays all that physical. Buffalo doesn't seem to play when the other team engages us. If teams ignores us, we get bored and play awful.

I will be predicting a loss EVERY game until Ruff is fired. I just don't think they can win a game with the effort or amount of caring theyve shown.

Its like there is no pride on this team.

I hope Terry is happy

NO WINNIN' FOR MACKINNON!!!

On one hand, I'd like Lindy to reinvent the way the team plays in order to shore up the defensive woes its had.

I keep thinking back to Miller's Vezina-winning campaign. There was a team-oriented approach to the defensive side of the game and the Sabres won the Northeast crown. Ruff had every player buy into the system he was selling - commitment to helping out the d, not leaving the zone early, attention to detail etc.

On the other hand, Vanek is unleashed right now and playing like the best player in the world.

Can't win.

3-1 Ottawa. They should win this one pretty easily.

I've got a handle of Crown for this game. Hopefully it's not gone in the morning.

2 undisclosed Sabres are doubtful for tonight. This does not include Regehr or Sekera.

We had the Pardy recall.

I am assuming Ehrhoff is not going to play.

He is the most important skater on this team.

We lose.

If we win, it will be in a high scoring shootout and because Vanek and his mates continue to play out of their minds.

I keep picking Sabres and they keep losing so...

Sens 4
Sabres 2

Weber, Scott, or Gerbe with a goal

(I'm going in full reverse logic here )

to be honest I'd rather have Seth Jones at this point. With Myers struggling more and more every game it looks like he wasn't the franchise defender we though he would be. Add to that McNabb and Pysyk are having down years and suddenly our defence is a lot thinner than we once thought. Im not saying I'm giving up on any of our players, but if were evaluating it now compared to 6 months ago, it's definitely gotten worse. Mackinnon/ Drouin would be great too, but I'd take Seth 1st.

Enroth first off the ice in morning practice. Time to adjust the predictions! 6-2 Sens instead of 4-2 Sens.

By looking at the practice pairings they are throwing Pardy into the fire.

They'll probably lose this one, win the next one, then lose the next 3. That seems to be how they've played the first half of the season for the past 5+ season. Excluding the division winning year, of course.

This one could get ugly with Enroth in net, I predict Karlsson dominating us all night.

Enroth in net? Let's just hope the Sens don't know about his 5-hole woes.
