I am not overly confident tonight at all- however:

What is crazy is if we could somehow pull off a win, not only would we have survived the horrific road trip/opening 9 game stretch, it will have actually been a great start, especially considering how awful we've been on offense.

Seriously, 4-2-3 and 11 points against that schedule and with our offense would be a pretty good accomplishment.

Tarasenko has two less points than our entire team has goals.

I was worried that PredsChik's GDT thread streak would end, but alas for Blues fans it has not and this one is in the bag. Just go ahead and give us the 2 pts. I predict a rousing 2-1 SO Preds victory! Weber breaks the drought on a shot that careens off of Shattenkirk's skate.

If Marty isn't back, I say we roll with 7 D again. Isolate Gill to the PK and give Blum some PP and more ES time. I'd rather have some versatility on the blueline than MacGrattan. Clune did play better in the last two imo.

Agreed, but it would be nice not to give someone in the division a point.

Still not liking our cycle game and puck control, although better was still bad and this is S. Louis, they dominate us defensively. Over and under on our shots on goal and offensive zone puck possession time, 18.

Can we at least string together 4 consecutive clean breakouts? I'm thinking no.

Do you think it will improve the teams chances if Shea Weber winds up and fires a slapper at Hitchcock's head?

Erat back in likely means that Blum goes back to the bench, which unfortunately means that Hal Gill will be back to steady icetime.

I just don't want to see them (blues) totally dominate us this time. I'd rather the game be like the first one at the bridge but a different outcome obviously. Go Preds!

Agree 100%- even with a loss, getting 7 pts in 7 games is pretty good all things considered.

I just want us to compete- we have been shut out the last 2 trips to STL- time for a good game there.

Plus, their D and goaltending have slipped a little lately, giving up 4, 3, and 5 goals in the past week.

Peks will lead the team in saves, icetime, and shots on goal.

Tarasenko cooling off a bit? 1 goal in the last 4 games, although he is on a 5 game point streak.

I don't know if the Preds win tonight, but I have a feeling that it's going to be an incredibly entertaining game.
