Hehe... wasn't no "Code" then. Pop him while he's being held, hit him when he's down, If my guy starts losing I'm jumping in!

I was at the '86 game. They barely had enough guys to finish the game!

Was it Paul Boutillier that Nilan suckered?

Then he took a swing at Linseman while being tossed, and that touched of the bench-clearing. Marqwart caught Claude Lemieux with a dandy.

The 86 brawl and the Jonathan/Wensink brawl. Right before the bench clearer in 86 Neely fought Shane Corson, Neely had bloacked a shot and taken some stitches before the fight, Corson busted the stitches open but Neely beat Corson, I was already starting to like Cam but that made him one of my favorites.

Roll 4 Lines it was Boutilier that Nilan suckered, I was pretty happy with that, the Bruins had traded Brian Curran for Boutilier, I didn't like the trade and as I watched boutilier I really hated the trade and by the point Nilan hammered him I was pretty happy about it. Was very pleased when Boutilier was shipped out of town shortly after, epitome of a non O'Reilly type player.

These days they would have ended the game right there and whatever score was up on the scoreboard would have been the final score.

Easily my favorite. Although this is a close second:

Wasn't this the brawl that lead to them having cops holding plexiglass between the B's bench and the visiting team alleyway to their locker room?

Easy call, Jonathan destroying the supposedly big bad Bouchard, effectively finishing his career. Other favourites were the epic Jay Miller vs John Kordic battles, and of more recent vintage, Lucic pounding the snot out of Komisarek, sending his once promising career into a tailspin.

I know it's not an all time great fight but the first time Lucic beat the bag out of Komisarek was awesome. It was a fight that was brewing for awhile and finally Lucic got the chance to fight Komisarek after Komisarek ducked Lucic time after time. A bad fight was when noted tough guy David Krejci got beat by Benoit Pouliot .

In Derek Sanderson's book, he talks about one where he chased a Habs fan out into the street in his skates.

Any idea which one that was?

In the 87-88 playoffs, Boston finally trounces the habs. Lyndon Byers dukes it out with AHL call up Steven Fletcher and at the same time, Jay Miller invites John Kordic over for tea.

I vividly remember this, great memories, watching this game with a fellow Bruins fan here in Ottawa drinking beers while CBC showed both fights on the split screen, I miss those days.

Still despise Nilan. Didn't even like him when he was on the B's.

Big tough rugged Patrice Brisebois going right after McCleary and starting a scrum to pummel him

I always come back to this, for the scoreboard and for Patrice's general badassness.

That's one of my all-time favorite memories, B's/Habs or otherwise

not for nothing but this is 10 times better than the scab infested GDT.

Late 90's, our team sux, thursday night, Mcgill night, we lose 5-0, but Belanger cold cocks some habs oaf and drops him with one punch. Plus all of us confiscated our own McGill painters hats as token scalps. Everyone left the game happy.
