Why rage? Arcobello has been just as good as VV in the AHL this year. And it's not like we have a huge group of guys to pick from down there right now.

VV would've made more sense for what we needed. Do we assume Arcobello is up and we have line changes?

I also don't think this means there won't be a trade or there will be one. Gives us options at this point.

If nothing else, I'm interested to see how he plays in whatever time he's given here in the NHL.

I think it's because Arcobello has more of a scoring touch then VV. Maybe they are planning on using him on the third line. I don't see it being that big of a deal though. 7-8 minutes of Arcobello or VV a game doesn't really make a huge diference as to which one is playing.

VV is the defensive center, Horc and Belanger down, so it would make more sense to me to call up a guy that plays that role in OKC.

I hope he gets a chance to showcase and determine if he is an NHL player or not.

Arcobello is a LOT better player than CVV and we need secondary scoring. Put him on a line with Smyth and Petrell and he'll be good enough until Belanger's back

If he's going to be any good I think he needs to play with some talent. Him playing with Smyth and Petrell is about as good as putting Jacques on the top line.

Maybe move Gagner to play with Smyth and Petrell. Let's see if Gagner is ready to be the offensive star on a line.

Would it hurt to try him between Hall and Eberle at this point? Hopkins is more of a 3rd line center the way he's playing right now, and Arcobello has played a good chunk of hockey between Hall/Eberle.

Hall-Arcobello-Eberle
Smyth-Gagner-Hemsky
Hartikainen-Hopkins-Yakupov
Paajarvi-Lander-Petrell

I know it won't shake down like that, but whatever.

Those lines will scare no one, we need some grit and push back in the NHL.

Krueger says hes considering a change on top two lines, perhaps flip flopping two guys to shake it up a bit.

There will be some sort of change. I personally want to see Arcobello get a shot with players that he can be a success with. If it turns out he can't hack it in the top 6, then you have your answer.

I
