La Cage is la cage and things haven't changed there in years. It was back then and still is now overpriced garbage. Sorry but it's the truth

Nah. Last time I checked, men (on average) do not become richer over time. If we study the past years, it's been the opposite.

I remember peel pub having really good onion rings. might be the one that burnt down, though. Not sure.

Among the 1001 reasons to visit Montreal, dining at that ****heap is not one of them. Also the owner is a Lex Luther-like crook.

White brings liabilities to the game. I want to see as little as possible of the Bruin PP. Besides, White isn't fearsome enough to instill terror in the opponents and I'm skeptical of his hockey skill set. I don't think fans at TD Garden will breathe a sigh of relief when it's announced that White isn't playing tonight.

Hey, you're not allowed to bash QC unless you were born there like me.

Seriously, stay away from there. There's two square kilometers of mildly interesting stuff around Le Chateau and that's about it. Then the area is strangled by two lane highways with no shoulder completely blocked in all directions. That's if you make it over one of the bridges in the first place...

The very same powerplay that's tied for second-to-last in the league and clicking at a whopping 10%?

Not sure if you're talking about station des sports or la cage, but let me tell you something, it's quicker to try and put together a list of establishments in Montreal that are not owned by crooks than naming the ones that are.

If you're talking about SDS, though. I wouldn't know about dining there. Beer was cheap and the atmosphere was pretty good. Fills up so damn fast, though.

Station des sports has a much better menu than Cage or any other sports bar. Dirt cheap for a complete meal and pretty acceptable quality. Disclaimer: Haven't been there since the renovations so I don't know how much it's changed.

The only thing is you're shoulder to shoulder with the people in the next table. This can be either a good or bad thing, depending on how much you like mixing with the crowd.

SDS. And its food is awful, beers fine/average/whatever though. Much prefer PJs in NDG, though it's also owned by Lex.

How about Champ's on st-lau? I went there for a soccer game and it was fine.

If SDS's menu is the same as I remember, it offers a wide selection of food -- pizza, meat, fish, burgers. I usually ordered the low-risk stuff like a pizza or a brochette, which was usually decent and better than anything I got at Le Cage. Plus it came with soup and dessert.

But let's face it, you're there to watch a game, so my standards were very simple: bacteria-free, with enough quantity to last for at least a period and a half.

The food at SDS is great! FFS you are in a sports bar and you get get a decent sized spaghetti gratiné for 7$, all while drinking 17$ 4L jugs and watching the game. Some of you are such primadonnas. The pizza and poutines are fine too. LOL @ sports bar snobs.

It's been my experience as well. It's honest and filling; without credit-busting prices.

However; for the love of god, do no, EVER, try the House Wine.

EVER
