Try the station for "Bohren & Der Club of Gore" - it's very down-tempo, ambient jazz. The station you get generally ends up being a good mix of that style along with down-tempo electric or otherwise instrumental music.
I generally don't listen to Pandora anymore though, the audio quality (64kbps AAC) is pretty crappy on the free version.

the musical style of Bohren & Der Club Of Gore which features new age roots, use of modal harmonies, minimalist arrangements, a slow moving bass line and use of electric pianos.
I listen to the 'indie rock' station a lot. And really just some random stations, like Beyond The Sea (Yeah, the Bobby Darin song) and Yelle (French electro-pop).
I've been listening to some really diverse, and often strange things lately.
Can you name the notable movie scene it's played in?

Sounds awesome. I may head up north this weekend before it inevitably melts again.
For this storm, assuming the track holds, you're best bet would probably be southern Vermont. Magic Mountain or similar should do a foot or more if this pans out.
It should stay decently cold for a bit, in fact, the models are picking up another potential snowstorm for Valentine's eve/day for our area.
WAY too far out though, all sorts of time for that to fall apart, which is what has been happening this winter with storms that display 8,9,10 days out, inside 3 or 4 days they've fizzled.

I'm in central NY, so Gore is really the only fairly close major ski area. Whiteface would be worth the drive (3.5 hours) on a perfect day, but Gore is only about 2 hours away.
