Balotelli - 2 goals on his AC Milan debut and a plethora of other chances. Amazing debut.

Kurt Zouma has signed an extension.
With Sakho, Varane and Mbiwa in front of him on the NT depth chart in the next 5-10 years.
Good luck.

I wasn't questioning Monreal's level, I was questioning the Gunners getting somebody of that level during the window. In other words, I was expecting either nothing or some Ligue 1 band-aid that nobody has ever heard of.

To get a guy who really can step in and be a starter from the get-go like Monreal is more than I expected.

Same here.

I wasn't expecting anything other then some chump to by-pass Santos but not someone of Monreal skill level.

P.S. His name is really annoying cause now, my gf won't stop saying his name when I watch my Gunners. I'm thinking of dumping her...

I believe the answer is no but can anyone confirm this.

Can Balotelli play in the Champions for Milan or No?

Well, when a report starts with "DONE DEAL:" and lateron in passing mentions that one of the involved parties of said "done deal" is hoping for a compromise to reach said "done deal"... you know what you have on your hands.

-Mourinho has spoken to Chelsea. They took this from the Daily Mail though.

Why would they want him? They have a better striker on the team already.

Yeah...that's not true. I like Mandzukic, but Lewa's a better striker.

I honestly hope BVB can keep as much of their current squad together as possible for as long as possible. I know that probably can't last though.

That would be a cruel double-blow though...Dortmund losing Lewa to Bayern.

Who wouldn't?

That said I still don't know why Bayern Munich would want another striker when they can spend the same amount of money and get a good defender.

Cause they need a striker a lot more than another defender? Dante's awesome, Lahm and Alaba is as good a FB pair as you'll find, and both Boateng and Badstuber are very talented young CBs. Add Kirchoff coming in in the summer and all they need is a backup FB and a top striker.

So far 8 goals in Serie A this season with Parma

Born in Algeria, but was trained by PSG; PSG sent him to Lyon, but they got rid of him as well

He ended up in Bologna, then Parma snapped him

His style is similar to Benzema (and it has nothing to do with his algerian roots)
Tall and strong as well

Can dribble, create for himself or for others, excellent finisher.
A few weeks ago, he didnt score vs Juve, but he created danger everytime he had the ball (ok not everytime, but most of the time)

Used to be a headcase, but so far, thanks to Donadoni, he has the right attitude.

I think its good that he finishes the season in Parma, before moving to a bigger club (which would mean more pressure)

I love you cgf, but you tend to overrate Bundesliga players.

Lahm and Badstuber are good players no doubt. I even consider Boateng underrated, but you can find good defenders who can replace him or Alaba with Lewandowski's transfer price. I think Mandzukic is a really good striker, so maybe you can sell him to make room for Lew and use Mandzukic's transfer money for a defender. I still think Bayern needs another one to compete against the Barcas and RMs.

E: Thanks MS for the report!

Lahm is better than either Barca or RM have right now, Dante's playing as well as anyone on either of those squads and Alaba is one of the world's best young FBs in europe and just as good as Alba. Hell even Boateng's really broken out this year with Dante next to him to do the thinking for him. Would Bayern be better with Silva next to Dante? Sure, but they'd look even more betterer with Falcao up front. The defense has been absolutely astounding for Bayern and definitely not as big of a need as a better striker. Dante has simply transformed them this year, they're no longer susceptible on the counter or to corners.
