Are you even sure that Orr played in the latest Bruins-Leafs game? If he did, he was truly truly invisible.

Edit:
Although I watched the game, just for fun I checked the boxscore.

Boston has a number of guys that will fight:

Lucic - 23 shifts/19:01 TOI
McQuaid - 23 shifts/14:13 TOI
Campbell - 20 shifts/14:21 TOI
Chara - 35 shifts/21:33 TOI
Macdermid - 7 shifts/3:02 TOI -- Two fights and I didn't see him say "no thank you" to Orr or McLaren did you?

On the other hand:

Orr - 7 shifts/4:04 TOI and a minus 1 in a 1-0 loss.
McLaren - 7 shifts/4:14 TOI and a minus 1 in a 1-0 loss.

You can claim Lucic shied away "like a little girl" if you want -- but Lucic wasn't hard to find being on the ice for a third of the game. Orr was much more difficult to find, wasn't he?

not a cop out at all, it's a fact. we make the playoffs, we're going to contend for the cup, we don't need to see any of our best players get hurt fighting the absolute trash that the leafs put on their roster. also didn't see how Lucic avoided them like a little girl, he just didn't fight them, huge difference. you need to get over the Bruins man, they're tough and talented, easily tougher then the leafs and much more talented. the leafs need to ice useless goons to mask how soft they are.

but keep on holding on to that orr vs Lucic fight, that's all the pathetic leafs have over the Bruins

What's pathetic is how much Bruins fans try to convince themselves that Lucic is some big scary guy when he won't fight anyone worth a damn. All of Bruins fans that come into this section went nuts when Orr was brought up in the other thread trying to state Lucic would destroy Orr now and yet still he won't come anywhere near him.

Nobody stated anything about the actual teams.... again that's a cop out trying to deflect away from the fact that Lucic is scared.

2011/12 HNIC Player Poll

Who is the toughest player?

#1) Milan Lucic 20%
#2) Zdeno Chara 17%

That's not because they are the best fighters. It's because of the whole mix -- minutes played, hitting, fighting, etc.

That doesn't take anything away from Colton Orr -- but stop acting as if Lucic is some sort of poser.

Lucic plays 19-20 minutes a game on first line duty but has taken on many of the league's toughest fighters. Orr plays 4-5 minutes on 4th line duty. Totally different players except they both use skates.

Serious question, would you not rather the leafs have a player of Lucic's qualities to build around, and maybe make the playoffs before the next lockout, or do you prefer the leafs status quo of 3 min per game tough guys, who go -1 in a 1-0 game.

Don't waste your time, Lucic is scared and nothing will change his mind

How did Lucic "shies away like a little girl" when Orr was lucky to have played more than 30 seconds that game? I don't think I heard "Orr" once. Get over it, I never want Lucic fighting a true and useless goon unless something legitimate happens to piss him off. That won't happen because that isn't how these goons work, therefore Lucic is not going to be fighting your useless AHL goons.

Are you seriously still going on about this garbage? Get over it. Lucic is a very good player; Orr is not. The fight was years ago, and Lucic is too important to fight the pylon that is Colton Orr. We have players for that. Lucic is not one of them.

Move on.
