And Chicago was horrible last season on the PK. Maybe Haviland really was the problem (and some people wanted DW to sign him).

No Boyle. No Burns. Hawks crazy good on offense. Our offense is 5 players.

ok upbeat SNOG (maybe I should pick a different score since last two outtings I've been right but the winning team reversed! i.e. preds I said 2-1 Sharks, Sucks I said 2-1 Sharks. Damn I see a pattern here).

SNOG

Sharks 4 (Cooter, Pavs, Marleau and Havlat)
Hawks 3 (Hossa, Towes and Odujya or however you spell that kid's name?)

Bounce back game tonight boys!

PP has been disaster for a while now in Chicago ,, Just absolutely awful unit (The stats this year are inflated by some 5 on 3 , 4 on 3 and own goals by opposing team)

PP relies on one thing to work ,, Cross crease feed to open man... Defenses take that away and Hawks have no shot at scoring on a PP 99% of time

As for PK

The better goaltending and development of Kruger/Frolik into top tier PK guys has been the reason for its turnaround

The Hawks have been having some struggles of their own lately. Right now their offense isn't much more than 4 or 5 players either.

Should be a great game anyway, really looking forward to it.

This means you're going to be 100% on the PP tonight

Is our bottom 6 really that bad compared to other teams? It seems like a lot of other teams' bottom 6 are struggling as well. The only thing I can really say about our bottom 6 is that they aren't scoring goals but they've been doing a lot of good things for the most part.

Not at all. Our bottom six is relatively solid. IMO itsnjustnbad luck that they haven't scored yet. Burish and Gomez seem to have some chemistry, Desjardin has been close on numerous occasions and definitely has the skill, Handzus catches a lot of flack here for being slow, but he's a good body in front of the goalie (if he went there more often). What we are lacking is a high level checking/defensive center.

Colored faces=Colored Edition

I had a funny batman GDT planned but the pictures weren't working very well. The batman one will be a later GDT.

It isnt bad luck at all. They're solid on everything but offense. They're not even generating half decent chances, thats definitely not due to bad luck. The rare times where they're actually in the offense zone, they're just moving the puck along the boards and then losing it with the quickness. Its no surprise that they haven't contributed anything offensively so far.

I guess Boyle isn't playing again (Just got home and haven't read the news) but the Sharks played decent defense last night. Their lines have to wake up sooner or later and tonight is a juicy match up.

Sharks 3
Hawks 2

Sharks goals: Clowe, Havlat, Marleau
Hawks Goals: Kane, Towes (Just because he always scores against the Sharks and evidently Sharks fans have based a board religion based on that fact).
