Your claim is as much hot air. We, and the rest of the league, know differently. I understand your need to 'stick up' for your team, so I don't hold your bias against you. I recognize it, though.

Nice to be able to come here and discuss things, isn't it? I wish the shoe were on the other foot....

The entire league can think we're dirty, doesn't make it true.

Should be a good one.
Here we go, fixed it for you.

Excellent. I think most Habs fans are hoping to see him getting crushed.

But is he qualified to wear the Bruins jersey? Can he sucker punch someone after the whistle? Can he knee someone? Can he seriously harm someone and act all innocent after it? Can he fight Spacek and Pyatt? Are his gloves going to be verified for malfunction? etc, etc, etc...

That's literally my favourite wine. Masi Tupungato - Argentinian Malbec. Drinkery on Notre-Dame has it, I used to go there for first dates all the time.

Wish I was in Montreal, I'd go there tonight.

Ahh **** i forgot about Cambpell. Too many ****** to keep track off on that team. Can't stand that guy.
Really, really hoping for a win. It goes without saying that as a habs fan nothing feels better than a win against the Bruins.

You read up on that rule. We got no one from it.

http://www.habseyesontheprize.com/20...e-canadiens-fr

"From 1936-1943 Montreal protected 14 players (2 per season) through this special draft. Unfortunately none of them ever played a minute in the NHL. Reason being, anybody who could tie their skates and chew gum at the same time were already long signed by other NHL teams including the Canadiens who certainly wern't going to survive solely with this rule."

Habs have won more than anyone post 1967 under the draft system, both in terms of regular season record and cups. They adapted better than any of the other original six teams to the new reality, which meant dominance in the 70's and remaining one of the leagues best franchises from 1980-98.

Nope, the Bruins were just that bad. The Habs got nothing from that "special rule" maybe you should brush up on your history and English skills.

Best hockey player of all time in Bobby Orr and they manage to win two cups during his career while the Canadiens win eight. How's that for an asterisk.

Whoops - I mistyped. Meant to say Thornton was out, not Horton!

As to the rest of your post, it was probably aimed more at other people than me since, as stated, I don't consider Boston to be a dirty team as a whole. Marchand can be outright dirty, IMO; Lucic reacts without thinking and can be accused of stupidity more than dirtiness; Thornton is your go-to guy for fights, which is a separate category. He'll fight you but won't injure you. But aside from those examples, as I said, playing aggressive is not the same as playing dirty. I wouldn't classify a Boston/Montreal game as 'dirty'. It's become a meaningless cliche, just like accusing Montreal of 'diving'. Easy insults, but simply not true for the most part.

That's why I love it. Toronto is the city that's strangled. I live in a smaller farm town north but I'm just sick of the area and its people.

The Habs should have the depth advantage at forward this time around. Their 4th line wingers are too bad to play more than token minutes and Chris Bourque is dragging down what should be a solid third unit based on Kelly and Peverley. Galchenyuk vs. the Bruins bad players is a key matchup. Eller can also do very well if he gets to be in the lineup.

Their top six is still very good though, especially with Chara behind them. Plekanec and Desharnais have their work cut out for them. I think its important Therrien starts trusting Subban and moves him up to a heavier minute role with or without Boullion.

Just saw that the guy who posted the below went on bragging in the Bruins PGT that he "riled us up".

I guess getting mocked and shunned mercilessly constitutes as a riling. The Bruins PGT was literally filled with "lets crush them on the ice and the score board!" kinda posts and montages of their players beating up the Jacques Martin Habs, it's beyond pathetic. What are New Englander's over-compensating for - besides the obvious?

I fully expect the bruins to try and goon it up - led by the little troll marchand. Gives our awesome new PP a chance to light them up.

You know what? **** that Dropkick Murphys song they play at the start of everything to do with Boston. I like Irish punk as much as the next guy, but we get it. [Mod] Good for you Boston.

I like your thinking.

It's my ultimate go to wine, if I don't know what else to get, I go with the Argentinian malbec. If you ever get the chance, go to Mendoza in Argentina where all the wine is produced, it's a great place to drink a week away.

Just gonna quote this to show others from outside our forum what a classy opponent looks like. There's nothing wrong with coming into another team's house, just don't expect to stick around very long if you start pissing all over the furniture.

I think it applies to us as well. I bet some people are shocked when bruins fans see us in a different light.

Might keep that one in mind. I don't drink wine, but my girlfriend does and I'll have to pick that one up if you both like it so much.
