Ok.. I get the new rule but the player did not touch the goalie nor was he standing in the crease. Doesn't the player need to actually interfere with the goalie? In all the other examples I've seen, the player has at least touched the goalie. I saw Mason touch whoever was standing in front him with his glove and that was it. He wasn't impeded or touched at all.

Anson Carter actually seems pretty well spoken. Wonder if he's going to be with us long term?

Looks like some of you believed the stuff the press wrote rather than deal with reality. A reality where heading into the season we had a third line that couldn't score and a hole at #2 LW left unfilled. The best case scenario for our regular season was winning the division, but injuries happened and that may be out the window. How about waiting to see what happens before jumping off the cliff?
Nope, Sorry. I'm jumping now and you can't stop me.

I remember when anyone that said Obama was well spoken was labeled a racist.

If Doughty was out because of injury, I would expect DL to be making phone calls basically. I don't see them just sitting on that. I would also expect quiet pressure on Mitchell to get back sooner.

They've also been calling penalties when a player was pushed into the goalie. This is the problem with the lockout, the refs and linesmen went in cold because there weren't any pre-season games. The league also knew there would be a ref crisis the past few years when they begged Kerry Fraser and Bill McCreary to stick around a year longer than they planned to. They knew the refs coming up through the ranks sucked and that's what we're dealing with right now.

Some of you need to calm down. The season is long.

Good thing is , if the Kings keep losing. Then teams will eventually fall asleep on the Kings.

No one will get up for them, when the Kings are trolling along in last place.

positives right ?

The difference being that Obama wasn't particularly well known for gliding on knives and whacking a disc with a stick.

Meh, they will be again at the #8 spot at the end and eventually go 16-0 in the playoffs.

Anson Carter, Paul Stewart, Wayne Simmonds, all from Scarborough and all with Kings' connections, pretty cool!

Seriously, the Kings are really close to having to do another top prospect and a 1st for another solid defenseman.

Hmmmm Carter snubs the Sharks and goes with Chicago as the best team in the West. I guess that really cant be considered a snub but all I know is I cannot wait to watch that game this evening. I'm calling a Sharks win with Big Joe and Patty combining for 7 points

I don't think he knew what hockey was until he became president.

Pretty much. We should never have taken our eyes off 6th-8th spots once we learned Kopi and Mitchell, and then Greene, were going to be banged up.

On the whole, the team played to near perfection for what, the previous 40+ games? This is just the law of averages on a much grander scale.
