Rinaldo drops Crombeen (and possibly lands one late punch?)

I like fights as much as anyone, but I didn't like that last punch by Rinaldo. He had already beaten Crombeen pretty good before then. The last one was just unnecessary. I hope Ryan Malone, Pierre-Cedric Labrie, or Eric Brewer go after Rinaldo before this one is over. It was nice to see that Marty St. Louis was pissed. I'm glad Tampa cares and won't let this go away.

Two late punches while he was down, doesn't surprise me though. Rinaldo is a POS with an AHL skill-set.

Rinaldo is trash and we all know it anyway. This is right up his alley.

Crombeen starts to tryn stand back up as he takes the "late" shot to the side of his head. In retrospect it's obvious he has no idea where he is by that point, but you can hardly fault Rinaldo for not realizing that that quickly. He actually seems to pull his last punch.

2 things...

Have any of you been in a fight in the moment?, If were gonna knit pick, lets take in adrenaline and timing response as well. Rinaldo isn't the classiest guy, but the way you suggest things makes me question how you can be hockey fans.

Secondly, just be happy you didn't watch the sport in the 70's it would probably be to much for you.

Well I hope the next guy that has Rinaldo down or vulnerable drills him in the head twice because apparently it's just fine.

It was only late because it was rinaldo. Had it been the other way around, the whole ****ing world would be rejoicing.

Pretty scary to think that those completely unnecessary punches could potentially really damage Crombeen's career.

Rinaldo being the gutless POS he is doesn't surprise me. He'll get his.

Typical Flyers hockey, nothing new here.

Rinaldo is one of those cheap, gutless pukes that literally serves NO PURPOSE whatsoever skating on an NHL team. He'll eventually get his good and no one will care.

Last punch of Rinaldo seems suspiciously late to me.

Anybody else agree here?

Lol. This is nothing. Doesn't merit one thread, let alone two, and I say that as a hater of Rinaldo and all rats similar to Rinaldo.

I am hoping Brewer or malone go after him before this game is over with.

It's part of the risk you have when you fight...hockey is hockey. Was one or two late? Possibly. When was the last time you said "Boy, that philly team was classy there..."

That being said, what does it take for a flyers fan to consider something dirty? I feel like flyers fans were surprised when Erskine got 3 games for his elbow on Simmonds because they didn't see anything wrong with it.

Looked late to me, as a Flyers fan.

Whole thing wasn't sparked by Crombeen-Giroux, though. It was Pouliot's cheap-shot elbow to Voracek's head--not shown in that youtube clip.

Crombeen intercepted Rinaldo on his way to Pouliot, I'm pretty certain.
