That was a pretty depressing 7 minutes of hockey

Meanwhile, Sharks are trailing @ ANA. Watch them pull off the same thing.

Sourly had a bomb deflect off Gomez's stick to put the Ducks up 2-1.

And that Hall penalty shot was pathetic. Wrist shot from 15 feet out with no moves, and Luongo didn't even have to flinch.

Sharks now to the PP... Stupid cross check.

Sharks lose. Impressed with Fasth, 3-0, looks so composed and no rebounds. Wish we could have signed him as a FA. Ducks have amazing G depth. Hiller, Fasth, Gibson.

Ducks win, the Sharks made Fasth look really good shooting right at his chest. Hopefully they do that tomorrow haha.

Oilers blow it as always! That team, they could draft 1st overall 10 years in a row and still be basement dwellers. If they draft real high again this year, maybe they should draft a goalie or an actual defenceman that plays defence.

hell I always wanted Bowman to sign him. There are more goalies like him in europe Bowman could sign. It worked with Niemi before and our G depth isn't good. Sure, Karlsson isn't bad and could be a backup when he finally gets more playing time. Can't wait for Rockford to finally play him

Didn't realize he was that bad with penalty shots / shootout attempts. Apparently he is their Patrick Sharp version.

Give Fasth some credit. He made all the saves he should have, and wasn't giving up rebounds. Also held the Shark to 0/6 on the PP, against arguably the most lethal PP in the league. He's obviously an older rookie at 30 years old already, but he has a good track record in the SEL. With Hiller struggling, he can definitely pry away from more starts from him with performances like this.... Especially for a team off to such a hot start, that might not accept below average goaltending.

Yeah, too bad we passed on him. The guy is starting his career off great.

Not only that, but the Flames are up 2-0 on the Wings, middle of the 2nd. Good be a good night within the division... possibly.
