He doesnt float. But I will agree that he doesnt go all out or even that hard on the backcheck. But Leivo doesnt necessarily have to with the hockey sense he has. He gets to the right place and anticipates whats going on. Sure he should go all out but I see it more as picking his spots. That is one aspect of his game that will pick up over time, probably in the pros/next level.

partially to do with conditioning IMO, its not a problem exactly for leivo, but I dont think its 100% top notch either. plus i get the feeling he is used to being relied upon for offense as he was in sudbury this year, and that hasnt changed much with coming to kitchener as faksa has gone down again.
Leivo would be leading Kitch in scoring if he was with them all year. Better PPG than Puempel, Faksa, or Murphy. I really like this kid, he may make that Versteeg deal one of our best.
I am watching Erie tomorrow night so it will ne nice to get another live viewing of Brown this year. I will do a write up on him firday night or saturday morning

if you can, keep an eye out for Connor Crisp and let me know how he looks. Big guy, breakout season this year with over 20 goals after only registering 5 points his first two seasons combined (although concussed most of last year) and also has that 15 minutes of fame as playing goalie last year for Erie vs. Niagra. Thanks and enjoy the game.

Hes looked good the game i watched him live, he needs to work on his speed but i think that will come because he has a powerful lower body and i think hes 6'4 220ish. He has a good wrist shot and drives the net hard, ill keep an eye out though.

Nevermind about keeping an eye on him at the game. At work today Connors dad was saying to me that Connor is suspended for four games because of the fight against Sudbury on Saturday.
Can someone give me a description of the style of play percy and leivo have. Any NHL comparables in terms of style?
I don't get to watch our junior prospects much
I think most people believe Percy is Gunnarson with a little more offensive skill, don't know much about Leivo although I saw him in the Russia-Canada subway series and he looked real good.
