Tortorella won't do it. Someone above him needs to.

Before last year, the excuse was the lack of talent, PP QB...... Its quite obvious that wasn't the case.

Send a message via Skype™ to BBKers
I believe it is Torts that "run(i)s" the PP
Sullivan the defense & PK
Regardless, they are both getting great results
Keep up the good work fellas

the head coach isnt telling these guys to not recover and come up the ice as one unit. thats laziness. guys are all stagnant in the neutral zone while the puck is carried up by one player and then the other team just stacks the blueline, so when the puck is actually dumped in all our flat footed players have no chance to beat the other team to it.

This thread is a great example of why these boards suck. Mike Sullivan is a highly regarded assistant coach who is more likely to leave the team because he's offered a head coaching gig than because he gets fired.

funny now we have a thread calling for sully to be fired for something he isnt even in charge of, and now it shifts to the head coach. people are just frustrated. chill out

if this is still infact the case then i stand corrected, however regardless of who is running it, it has not worked for years. i know torts likes his staff the way it is, but i certainly think considering the regular issues that they need to hire a specialist to structure this thing

Richards is playing like *****.....behind the back no look drop passes to no one but the opposition, lazy passes in the offensive zone. I've been a big BR supporter, but man, he's playing like arse without a doubt

Probably.

Edit: is the powerplay solely Sullivan's responsibility? Is it all his?

Those are three secondary sources. None of those bloggers look like they are connected with the team. I am now quite intent on finding out who's in charge myself. I think I'll watch some of the previous powerplays and see if there are any instances of Sullivan drawing up tactics.
