Can't wait to see Emelin's first hipcheck of the season on Marchand.

Boston has one good team, that's for sure.

But let's **** them anyway.

Besides that, who else are you referring too?? To me. thats a pretty average team...I'm not bias and one thing I have on you is I've watched every Bruin game. I very rarely defend my team because I know how it end up..Nobody wins ,,and I'd much rather talk about the great start by Markov, and Habs 2 rookies or The great play of Price and Rask or Marchand with 5 goals already..That makes for alot better chat between 2 hockey fans than this"I hate Boston or Montreal or this player is nothing but a goon etc...Cheers and all the best!!
Sorry, phone malfunction

Right on.

I secretly own a Lucic jersey as a souvenir from when I did a contract in Boston. From time to time I wear it to troll my friends. I haven't received grievance about it from my fellow board members by refraining to mention it in the forum.

Hmmmmm.....Eller +

a 4th line position last game and discussion of him playing 4th line / sitting this game, in favor of WHITE? Are THESE posters REAL? ..... or have some come to the conclusion, that "at present" that's where he fits?? Funny what a difference a week makes? (BTW, Anglais is my FIRST language O'LORD!)

I'm not the type to come on and say "Habs suck" "Bruins won the cup in 2011" this player suck, that player is useless..You know, its way more fun to come to your board and have a sensible hockey talk, its alot more fun and I absolutely love the Bruins/Habs rivalry AND its also in my family. I have 2 sons{2 precious grandaughters}, Joshua, the oldest is a diehard Bruin like dad and Lucas cheers for Montreal. Lol, but like I tell him, its fine..You make you own decisions and abide by them whether its just a sport or big life decisions. Sorry for off subject but I brag alot about my kids. No matter how old they get{24 and 22}, they will always be your boys..Cheers my friend!!

I predict the first 8 min will decide the game. If Mtl bites on trying to play Bruins hockey we lose. If we stay smart and let them take penalties we kill them on the PP and we win. But the first 8 min will be key in deciding who's game will be played. And I think MT has a good enough hold on this team right now to keep them focused.

I think he was saying "The Bruins are not classless thugs" in more words than that. I didn't see anything about the fanbase in his post.

I kind of agree that the hate on both sides makes it difficult to actually have a discussion about the game and teams.

Lucic is a player I would love to have on this team.

Odds on favourite is Prust against either Ference, Campbell, or Thornton. Hoping to see White dance with someone though. All in the heat of battle too, nothing staged.

Not unless Lucic starts gooning it up. Prusty already took on Lucic a few times and was beaten with relative ease. Prust's one of the best pound for pound and could hold his own against Lucy, but the size mismatch is too much for most anyone not named Rick Rypien.

Ference, Horton, McQuaid, Chara, Lucic, Marchand, Thomas (once upon a time), Campbell, Thornton..

Could they have a bigger collection of despicable human beings?

Awards:
Michel Therrien vs. Claude Julien

I'd love to see emotions rise and both these coaches rise a little higher as they stand on their respective bench and shout shenanigans at each other.

I expect to see a couple of fights tomorrow.

Prust vs Lucic
Bouillon vs Campbell
If White plays, he might go against a guy like Boychuk or Ference.
Moen might also take on McQuaid or Ference.

I mainly expect the first 2 to happen though. I don't expect Prust to beat Lucic into pieces. That's just not fair to expect that from him. But I expect Lucic to come out hitting anyone in sight, and there are huge chances Prust won't take it. Lucic has the upper hand on Prust in a normal fight, but it's nowhere as much of a piece of cake as it is against Komisarek. Prust is a sneaky fighter with great technique and can find a way to get a couple of punches through.

As for Bouillon, he's a Habs at heart, Campbell usually plays like a big tough guy against the Habs and is likely to pick the easy fight with Bouillon. He might be in for a surprise though.

Something I'd like to see also is a Gallagher vs Marchand featherweight bout. Marchand is hated in Montreal, and Gallagher is a tough little piece of meat out there.

I just saw Therrien press conference and I think White will play. It is just a guess though: Therrien only mentioned that we will see him back in the lineup soon.

Eller is a better hockey player than White but, currently, there is no room for him on the top 3 lines (Prust is a lock on 3rd) and, against the Bruins, I prefer 4. Moen – White – Armstrong over 4. Moen – Eller – White.

EDIT:

It’s somewhat unrelated but I just noticed that Boston is leading the NHL with a FO% of... 59,4! It is very impressive. Maybe it would be a good idea to reinsert Nokelainen? 4. Moen - Nokelainen - White?
