I can find a clip of the great Max Pacioretty throwing a headshot on Kris Letang and zero reaction from Montreal. Then show you the Montreal reaction after the Pacioretty/Chara hit, and that would prove Habs fans are the most hypocritical fanbase in sports and didn't care about headshots until it was their guy. Not to mention the classy way they went about protesting the NHL and headshots.

I think it's the best website on the internet. So simple, so hilarious.

Also, nice avatar. Looking forward to the new Star Trek, looks great.

Actually, the only thing it proves is how completely you missed the point.

You have every right to arrive at conclusions based on a few clips here and a few fans there, but don't expect those types of conclusions to carry any weight.

For example: Do you believe every single Bruins fan sent out those famous racist tweets? Probably not, right? The lesson is you can't pick and choose which generalities to hang your hat on, so best to ignore them all.

Ya but the reaction in Montreal over Pacioretty was beyond a minority of fans. Government and law enforcement was involved. Montreal and Canadian based companies threatened to pull sponsorship of the NHL if nothing was done to Chara. Never did we see this type of reaction to anything, even dirty hits perpetrated by repeat offenders. It was a hypocrisy that extended beyond on fans, Montreal typical.

You're making things up. Please tell us which government officials were involved. Which companies demanded Chara be punished??? You're mixing up issues and making yourself look foolish. The NHL cracked down on headshots last season. Was that initiative all because of Montreal fans? Changes were demanded by fans from every team, along with some owners and sponsors, which resulted in new rules and Shanahan imposing new expectations for the players. Was THAT because of Montreal fans?

You're trying very hard to start a fight with no ammunition. Honestly, I'm wondering why in the world you want to go down this path...

Bergy is awesome-was it a good interview?

I love the fact that his French accented English has sort of picked up a Boston accent.

it's no accident that Paddy Cleary would eventually pick up a Boston accent.

holy crap I totally forgot that fat lips Therrien is their coach again. As if i don't hate this team enough as it is!

Who can forget this uber doosh making the decapitation hand signal to J. Thornton after the Zednik diving incident. And what did our fearless leader of a coach Frobbie Ftorek do in response? Stood there like an idiot with his arms crossed blankly staring towards center ice. I'd like to see sausage lips try that with CJ.

Man am i FIRED UP!!

It was so shameful to see all the political and big companies try to "surf on the wave". Opportunism at his best.

Do all Montreal fans live in an alternate universe, and can anyone visit, or do you need a visa?

Yea it was very good and he said that Boston talked how important the game is because it's for the first place in the division. He also said that Clause told them that the Habs was very good this year so don't take them slightly. So we should expect a big game from them. Talked about how Chara is a good leader and a very pleasant guy to be with.

Overall good interview

If MTL's improved roster gels, I can see them being a legit threat in the playoffs. Hell, they were our toughest series in 2011, and they've only beefed up since then. They'll have an amped crowd behind them, and will come out strong in the first period. I hope the B's are ready to hit hard and skate harder. Build on the defensive discipline and neutral zone control established against the Leafs, but this time add strong doses of urgency and ferocity. Chara, Boychuk, Lucic, Kelly: for some reason, I'm looking for big games from each of you tomorrow.
