Yeah you are only allowed to talk to them with kid gloves on. There are a few good ones there but they dont seem to post as much. I stopped bothering when I realized quite a few of them just regurgitate Jack Edwards crap, and another guy once said Mc Quaids knee on knee was ok on Foligno because they are friends.

Bruins fan coming in peace. With the Canadians coming off a hot start, do you guys think they have a legitimate shot at a playoff berth and that last year was just an aberration? It kind of reminds me of how the Flyers sucked in 06-07 unexpectedly, got Van Riemsdyk at 2nd overall in the draft, and then have been a solid team ever since. The Canadians struggled last year, but you got Galchenyuk 3rd overall and are doing well thus far this year.

last year WAS an aberration and as usual, depending on the injuries, we always have a shot at the playoffs. 7th, or 8th place or just out of the playoffs is where they belong i think. team is still in a transitory phase

I don't think the roster was as bad as the record last year, just a lot of things going wrong at once. Injuries + bad years + off ice issues + coaching issues.
Based on the play in the East so far I see us anywhere from 5th to 9th/10th. Once the dust selltes NYI Florida Toronto will be at the bottom. Buffalo is weak at center, Winnipeg too run and gun. Washington is digging a hole, if they don't turn around quick they will be too far back. I think the Habs will beat out Carolina(no depth), Ottawa(no Spezza) and battle Phillie and NJ for 5-7.
