This line is small. could be tried.

No time right now for polite lines discussion. Habs have to defend the Bell tonight like they have never done before. This is a huge statement game for them. Do they believe in themselves yet? If they do, then **** the Booins. Skate them to death.

1stline you would have to switch Bourque with Patches
2nd line Cole likes to play RW, and I doubt they put DD at wing, so maybe Eller at LW and Cole at RW, but it was tried already.
3rd line Gionta and Gallagher both being right had shots, can't play LW

****. I'm a world away. I'd give my left nut to watch this one at the Manoir with a jug or two and some pig's knuckles. Have a beer for me.

PS: I would not actually give my left nut, it is just a figure of speech. Though I do have a kid already, so maybe the loss would not be so bad...

Always fun to watch Habs-Ruins

Once again, too much emphasis will be put on the outcome one way or another, but still good times.

Speed over size will always win.

Confirmed by 98,5FM.

To be honest, against the Bruins I was expecting White in, Eller out. Eller is a better overall player but on 4th against the Bruins, White does bring, imo, a more valuable contribution.

After reading the insane team faceoff% of the Bruins (almost 60%! Obviously, they are #1 in the league), I was also expecting the return of Nokelainen, our faceoff specialist. 4. Moen – Nokelainen – White would have been my 4th for tonight.

That being mentioned, 4. Moen – Eller – Armstrong sure is a good 4th line... though I expect a complete domination of (English 101: "of" or "by"? Thanks in advance) Boston in the faceoff circles.

Tonight is a pivot/benchmark game.

EDIT:

Almost forgot: this GDT =

I think the fact that we are at home played a big factor, we get last change, so MT can control who is on the ice vs who, also that Marchand (pest), and Thornton not in, I have a feeling its going to be a quiet game.

Also Noke is still injured

I'm surprised White isn't playing either, though if anyone it should have been at the expense of Armstrong - we do need skill too vs this team, because they have depth.

With White, he'd be both a good and bad thing against the Bruins..yes we need people willing to stick up for their teammates but you can't lose your cool vs the Bruins or it will end badly. The last thing we need is the Bruins goading White into taking an instigator, only for Lucic to pound his face in. For all their thuggery the Bruins don't take many minor penalties, which means you need to pick your battles carefully. And while Eller might not be tough, he doesn't get bullied easily either.

He is? Thanks for the heads-up!

PS being at home definitely was a factor; you are right.

EDIT:

@Et Le But: I can't think of a better way to test White's discipline than playing him against the Bruins. That being mentioned, you are probably right. Damned... I agree with everyone... it’s annoying! I am out of here!

Wow. No reason to lose to a team like that. Gregory Campbell on their first line?
