I feel like a junior high teacher who just intercepted two female students spazzing notes across the class and then reading the gossip scribed across them. Settle down guys. There has been no indication of an injury both on the ice or off it. It's not a conspiracy.

Well there is a lot of indication on twitter that he was hurt in OT against the Nucks and that he was banged up the past few games.

As for it being minor or major that's the question TBD.

Actually, him being scratched for tonight's game is a pretty good indication. It's only a question of how injured.

Him not skating does not automatically imply him being "scratched" Per-se. Could indicate a day of rest or soreness from a previous injury stemmed. That or an illness of some sort. It is the season for a flu-like illness... No sense in acting like its a season ending and our season is destined for the cellar.

I'm honestly amazed with as much as everyone here seems to generally pay close attention to the game that noone noticed when Sedin hauled down Nuge in front of the net and Nuge went back to the bench with his arm just kind of hanging there.

I swear that this wasn't recent but was more ongoing. RNH was really struggling so far and several instances where I've seen him simply abandon puck if there was a hit coming.
I mention this because its uncharacteristic of the kid but happened multiple times this season and I'm surprised nobody else caught it. RNH for whatever reason was playing with fear. I would bank on it being fear that the next hit elicits major injury. Which if true begs the question what was he doing out there?

Wasn't Nuge supposed to get his shoulder checked and cleared for the world juniors? Maybe he needs some surgery

I've never liked this line of thinking, be it Arcobello, Omark, Schremp, or whoever. But in this case, with RNH out, our only other options are Smyth and Lander. Smyth isn't a centerman and I'd hate to break up the 91-57-54 line. Which means Arcobello would either center 4-14 or 64-83 and the Gagner line may be our #1 line tonight.

well, if he was that badly injured than I think they call-up more than just Arcobello...maybe VV as well

cause it looks like they're going with 3 center tonight with Smyth subbing in on the 4th line

yikes

Yeah, there was that as well. Didn't look comfrotable. Hall had that as well recently. Hate to mention it but I was looking at Hall for awhile wondering if he could straighten out his arm..

sorry in advance. what a ****show.

I'm guessing Arco slots between Hall and Ebs with their recent AHL success. Second line remains the same, Smyth slides into Center and the Nordic line remains the same. 56*

I dont worry that much about the faceoffs. We had lots of good scoring chances last game while winning about 0 draws. I am more concerned about all the great scoring chances our talent are not converting into goals. If Hall, Ebs, Nuge etc start scoring at a more normal pace the faceoffs wont matter so much. Even though Van outshot us by a ton last game we still had a lot of great chances.

Exactly. There's about a million things it could be. No sense in assuming he's getting an arm amputated or anything just yet. When we hear something other than he's not skating, then its time to panic

Apparently the entire Edmonton mainstream media is just noticing this and is appearing amazed.

Buddy of mine went to Eric Church concert last night and Jones and RNH sat in front of him. Both looked fine I guess.

I'm honestly amazed that you haven't reported on this somewhat seemingly obvious injury he received. Unless you did already and not just mention it in hindsight after his absence was reported elsewhere. Or did you?
