Boston's "attitude" comes from it's history. The Irish who setteled here were run out of Ireland either by religious persecution or the potato famine. Once they got here, they were treated like slaves which is how our gruff, opinionated, no holds bar attitude was born and comes from.

The terrible fans of any team always have the loudest voice.

Should be a good game. i'll be missing tomorrow's game, though. Going to Ottawa for some thing... I forget the name...

Winterlude I think that's it.

I just can't do that with the Bruins boards. Way too many posts rub me the wrong way. I physically can't go anymore. And it's not an American thing because I really like New York and Buffalo posters. I don't know what they feed the fans in Boston...
it's gotta be beans....because they smell like farts and are full of ****!

Would of have loved White in the line up tonight. His intensity has the potential to be great in games like tonight, but as always, it has its downsides (Penalty's) but still!

GHG! Amazing GDT MiG

Glad to see we won't have to deal with Marchand tonight, he's one of their dirtiest players and he's been playing very well.

I think this one goes to the shootout with Galchenyuk potting the game winner and Price shutting the door.
If they play McDermid and Tardif more than 3-5 minutes its the Bruins who are going to have a rough time of it on the score sheet. These are bad hockey players and Montreal has the scoring depth to exploit that.

Thornton could take a regular shift and play real hockey, unlike these guys.

If Habs are winning by 2+ goals I'd limit Markov's icetime. Wouldn't be surprised to see them try to take out his knees as a 'message'. It's a shame White sits instead of Armstrong, White is the one player on the team that wouldn't hesitate to jump someone that tries to injure/hurt a teammate even if it's at the risk of him losing icetime.

Yup. Unfortunately, Armstrong might be this year's Darche to a point.

Yeah no kidding. If we get abused tonight Therrien might regret his decision big time. I get he's an Armstrong fan and has been knowing the player for a long time, but he won't help on any aspect against the Bruins.

As for Markov, yes, definitely. Agreed on all accounts here.

I don't like violence, I don't like line brawls(lies), I don't want to play their game, I don't want to see Bruins players lying on the ice(lies.........) but I'd like to see what the bRuins fans would say.
This would be histerical. (See tha pun?)

Edit:Armstrong might get himself screwed up again.
We'd be the ones crying. We're in no shape or form capable of standing up to the Bruins in a line brawl. Prust can take on most of their fighters not named Lucic (even then he doesn't look like a complete tool like others such as Komisarek does), so can Moen. But Armstrong is probably a worst fighter than Desharnais, Subban is quite ridiculous when he drops the gloves too.

If we want possible matchups:

Prust - Lucic
Moen - McQuaid
Bourque - Horton
Bouillon - Ference

but in that case, they still have Boychuk, Campbell and MacDermid who can drop them. Bourque would quite possibly make Horton his *****, Moen can pull a draw against McQuaid, Prust might have a hard time against Lucic, and Bouillon in a good fight can pull a surprise against Ference.

That being said, I'd more than like to see Emelin always go all-in on Bergeron and Seguin if they start abusing guys like Gally, Chucky, Markov and Plekanec.

Don't know if he has it in him, but in 1-2 years I'd love to see Gallagher square off against Marchand, and just rearrange his face.

Should be a good one tonight!

As a Bruins fan - let me just say that I love poutine, and thoroughly enjoyed taking a tour of Le Centre Bell when I was up in Montreal for my one year anniversary back in September.

Let it also be said that I hope the Bruins win tonight, and I farted in the Canadiens locker room when the tour took us through there.

Nah, since Subban's return Boullion is getting 3rd pairing icetime. Oddly enough his play also has looked A LOT better. Therrien is using him perfect ATM.

The one exciting thing is to see Dougie Hamilton and how he does for Boston, at least in this game.

Some people on these forums would lead you to believe that we're on a strict diet of babies and Sam Adams. Myself, I enjoy a nice ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and a Coke to wash it down.

I'm getting the feeling for tonight that Montreal's speed goes running wild on Boston like it has for the last 20 years, but hoping Boston can impose some size early on to set the game at their speed. Typically, that's been their game plan to beat Montreal so hopefully they can get that going.

That being said, I sure do miss the days of the Dandoullion pairing. Can you bring that back please?

No you don't get it... It's about giving them the crap they gave us a year ago... Beating up our softies and all.

Match them with the softest line at the end of the game THEN MAKE THEM PAY

But then again we'd need to sign 3-4 enforcers to get by the next game
