When I lived in Toronto I went to Leaf games by myself numerous times, mostly because single seats were the only thing available. It's no big deal.

I haven't been to a Jets game yet where strangers beside me haven't struck up conversation. You won't be alone.

I went to the Islanders game alone last year, after I bought a single game ticket as insurance. It was actually a lot of fun. Unless you don't get along with strangers, than perhaps it's not advisable.

That's what I do as well, in Toronto, when the Jets are here. No one really talks to anyone else at ACC, which is fine with me. Going alone is perfectly okay, better than being with someone who isn't that interested and wants to yack through the important bits.

I went to a jets exhibition game by myself when I was 14. Back then though there were lots of empty seats so i moved around a lot. Not weird at all, but I couldn't imagine buying a single season seat and doing that for every game.

Went to my first Jets 2.0 game last year alone, vs. the Panthers in November. Was addicted. Saw plenty of games after that, more games with people than not. I talked to the people on either side of me, they were friendly and it was entertaining. Overall, Jets games are usually pretty good.

On a side note, if I get open floor tickets to a concert and I have a ticket for you, you might as well go alone. I am gone and you might not see me til the next day. The way I look at it, going alone to events has the potential for adventure. Just because you're alone, you don't stop living.

I went to Jets games as a kid alone all the time, but I think I'd feel odd doing it now.

I went to the Islanders game by myself last year as well. The people I sat beside were alright, except the guy who wouldn't shut up about his grandmother's health issues. Not really game time talk, bro.

Nothing's wrong with it, go have a fun time.

I've gone to hockey games, movies & concerts on my own and had a great time.

Go and have fun!

I went tandem biking myself, then went home and played chess alone. Was a great time. Usually I gather around with myself after and have a beer and chat with myself about the great times I've had.

But actually, go for it. Wouldn't be bad at all to go yourself the odd time anyways just to change the pace and get a different feel/atmosphere.

Think of it like being a scout. They have to show up to many games alone to
evaluate teams or talent. If anyone bugs you, just tell them you are scouting
for one of the other teams.

I've done it, and it is kind of fun. There are no distractions - just you and hockey. It's kind of nice. You get to schmooze with the people around you. Not weird at all. I'd do it again, the second I can grab a single ticket.
