Considering the Providence line will get like 5 minutes of ice time (probably like 2 together since MacDermid will fight right away), we need our big guys to come up big.

Seguin has been breaking into his stride, got a goal taken away from him last game and has been crashing the net, I'd be willing to put the past 8 games completely behind him if he picked up a couple of points. Campbell has played well, too, maybe a boost to the 2nd for tonight will get him pumped up. Krejci has been dominant, and Lucic and Horton have done nothing but impress. Bergeron has been a bit iffy on the offensive game, but he's done great in faceoffs and defense.

Biggest factor tonight is Chara. He's had his... moments. It's in Montreal, so we'll get a lot of penalties, due to the arena and our team. PK is gonna have to come up big, and it's gonna be harder without Pie and Marchy. (Is Paille playing?

Same here. Way too many injuries to key players. This one is going to be tough. Better hope the defense plays tough. players like Chara and siedenberg are going to have to have big games.

SO excited for this game tonight. HAte it that it doesn't start til 7:30. The 7:30 games just throw me off. Plus it means I have to wait that much longer. I feel like Violet Beauregard - I want it NOW!

Man, I hope the Bruins bring their A game....otherwise I am predicting a 3-0ish loss. The Habs are playing really well and we are all Jekyll and Hyde of late.

So then I go back... seems like it would make more sense to have a responsible/defensive Campbell anchoring the 4th line and take your chances with Tardiff or Spooner on the 2nd line. Bergeron would make up for some rookie mistakes that may be made.. and you could give the 4th line a few more minutes they otherwise wouldn't have if it were Tardiff - Spooner - MacDermid.
I think you make a good point, but I think Campbell is on the 2nd line because it will make it easier to shorten the bench, and more than anything because Campbell is good on the boards-something Seguin isn't and Julien may not be ready to trust the AHL guys to be at this point.

My guess is the all AHL line will see little to no ice time unless the Bruins get out well ahead or that line does some amazing and unexpected things.

I am curious to see how the PP shakes out with no Marchand.

The all AHL line might surprise us and Julien may do some line changes in game (maybe try Spooner on the 2nd or similar).

Either way I hope Pie and Marchand are healthy and return sooner than later, because this line up leaves me less than confident.

Just curious: do the refs count against the cap for the Habs? Did they settle this in the new CBA?

The Bruins are really going with an AHL line.
A divisional game, a Montreal game, and a game for 1st in the division + 1st in the conference... and Boston's icing a 3 line team.

Back Luck Bruins

Interesting that Chris Bourque doesn't draw back into the lineup.

I wonder if that classy fanbase will boo our anthem again.
To be fair isn't that the same as we all called 911? I don't know a single person who did personally.

It reminds of the crap that goes on over in England/Scotland amongst football fans. It's so bad over there that alot of establishments don't even allow team colors/gear to be worn in them because of violence.
I think you hit the nail on the head. Visiting both boards frequently we're very similar only different colors.

It's possible. Bergeron is always dangerous vs the habs. Lucic is a good pick too.

Cheers! Hopefully it's a good one. If I were to bet, I'd say the fight(s) may be done asap and the rest of the game will be pretty much hard fought and close.

Our offensive lineup has me worried. It just looks so weird to me without Marchand....I wish he was playing in this one because Marchand to me always seems to bring that intensity/passion to big games like this one tonight.

Our D/Rask need to have a great game and hopefully our 1st line and others can step up. Seguin is due to pot some. Should be interesting to see how it goes.
