Would love to see what he could do playing with Crosby or Malkin.
I've said it elsewhere, but I think a trade that would work for both sides in Niskanen for Setoguchi+ something. What that something is I leave to others to haggle over, but that fills a need for the Wild and fits with Shero's prior trading style.
He's overpaid and can't score. We have a former first rounder who scored 20G his first 2 seasons and is now in Chicago's bottom six. He makes a million less than Setoguchi both guys need a change of scenery.... Call it even. Frolik atleast can play defense and Pk
change of scenery Michael Frolik for Setoguchi. Frolik 2006 #10 overall pick. Has had two twenty goal seasons his first two NHL seasons. No room for Frolik in Chicago's top six. Saves you a million in cap room.
I doubt McBain is on the table, but I thought I'd ask...?
Actually in my opinion, the only guys who would be a dealbreaker on the blueline in Carolina is Gleason, Faulk, and Pitkanen. I could see Pits being moved but it'd probably take more than anyone would want to fork over for him though. So yeah, McBain would be able to start some talks.
Personally I don't want to see him go, he's the only dman who has decent chemistry with Pitkanen.
We may ask for a depth dman along with Seto if that's the case, unless Muller is crazy enough to insert Corvo back in (which he is).
Aw yes Seto. I still remember back in his draft the Sharks trading up. Most thought Kopitar to the Sharks. NOOO they pick Setoguchi instead. I remember thinking to myself who the ******* is Devin Setoguchi. Anyway the Superstar that is Anze Kopitar led the Kings to the freekin Stanley cup. Still upset about that. I guess I should'nt take it out on Seto, he's had a few good moments!
Is OC even online right now? Really, the guy acts like Devin ****ed his wife or something.
How did he do on the 4th line? He get his **** together, or can Pittsburgh get him dirt cheap?
