Fall out Boy announce end to hiatus

Fall out Boy have announced that they're ending their hiatus and they'll have a new album out in the early May. They released this song this week:

Not expecting the rest of their album to be like that as that song is more a statement song but I'll be looking forward to hearing it.

I'll probably go to their Toronto show, nostalgia's a *****.

I saw Pat Stump perform solo at Lollapalooza a few years ago (very, very side stage), and I found it awful. I love his voice though, and this is probably the best thing to ever happen to him.

inb4 haters.

I love Fall Out Boy so I'm glad to see they're back. Stump is a very underrated songwriter, the music he was making during their hiatus was fantastic. The band gets a lot of unnecessary hate because of how um .. eccentric, Pete Wentz is.

Maybe I need to listen to his solo stuff again.

Not as bad as I was expecting. I'm not a big fan but they had a few good tracks. Not sure I'd call Patrick Stump's solo work brilliant. That My City song was torture to have to sit through.

Sounded like every other boring pop song on radio these days. 1 / 10. Lets hope the rest of the album does not sound that awful.
Prefer the older stuff that have rock elemnts in them.

All I know about them is that I can barely understand what the lead singer is saying a lot of the time, which has lead to more then a few somewhat funny "misheard lyrics" videos.

2 Chainz won 2012 and looks like he's picking up steam in 2013. You know you've blown up when you're in other artists videos tbh.

2 Chainz sucks in terms of like actual lyrical ability, but he has so much charisma its hard to hate him imo.

Uhmmm...no. 2 Chainz is awful.

Back to FOB...I don't like how catchy I find this song. Not as a rock song at all. This is 100% a pop song with rock influences. The fact that their album will be called Save Rock and Roll is infuriating. They were never rock and roll to begin with. But I still like listening to this song. Can't help it. I feel dirty. In the bad way.

Very meh. Not interested in hearing more. And Stump's solo work was truly awful. Not even listenable.
