Injured lately, green before that. Bartley should probably be above him in the depth charts.
I agree with Yonk here. Eckholm has been injured and really not had much time to play. Bartley is above him on the depth chart I would say also. Bartley was named to the AHL All Star team this year.
Ok, we had the Preds CHL battle last week. (Sissons v. Leipsic) Portland vs. Kelowna. Now this week we have NU v. Harvard in the Beanpot consolation game. (Noonan vs. Vesey)
1 goal 3 assists for Leipsic today. he is now first in the WHL in points with 101
Anything you can add? Have you seen him? Hard to know by just stats but I, too, am trying to contain my excitement. I'm not sure we've ever had a league leading scorer on the preds. Is he looking like the real deal?

...Radulov lead the QMJHL, by far.
In talking to WHL fans, they say Leipsic is the kind of player you can't help but love...never stops moving his legs, 100 percent effort every night.
That said, they feel his scoring is unlikely to translate to the NHL due in part to his size, and also in part to the fact that he's playing on one of the best lines in junior hockey with Blues pick Ty Rattie doing the driving...on a stacked Portland Winterhawks team.
NHL upside estimated to be 2\3 line energy forward, 15-20 goals. Think Gabby Bourque.
Not a bad thing at all, Bourque is probably one of the bright spots in our forward group this year, but I wouldn't expect an elite scorer in Leipsic.
Hellberg gets his second start in a row and gets his second win in a row stopping 29 of 30 shots as the Ads beat Abbotsford 2-1. Puustinen and Beck with the goals.

And Mueller had both assists. It was a team effort. They looked bad in the first period, but Hellberg made 16 stops.
Haven't been able to get online lately with work breakin my balls. How's Watson lookin? Has he tailed off at all since his hot start or is it steady as she goes?
I was at the game when leipsic got to point 100. While he's not the biggest guy, the kid can fly and has pretty slick hands. He's also one of those guys who you would love to have on your team but would hate to play against. Definitely will be an energy player for you guys. Solid pickup for a third rounder IMO.
Chris Mueller scores two goals in the final minute on his bobblehead night to tie the game at 4. The Pilot scores in overtime to give the Admirals a 5-4 win.
Hey guys. I'm a Bruins fan but recently moved to Portland. I went to the Hawks/Giants game today not knowing much about any of the players other than having heard of Jones, obviously.
Leipsic was probably the most impressive player on the ice for me. He scored the game winner in OT (really nice goal) and had an assist on a goal in the third. Good looking player! Very smart and quick and also did a tremendous job on the PK.
