Price-Luongo-Fleury makes the most sense to me.

I guess it is possibly actually, Canada isn't stacked on LW and an argument could be made for Kane over Nash by that time. I think Nash was picked because of his past performances in international tournaments. Then again, there is still Marleau, Neal, Hall and Sharp to compete against.

I sure hope so, hopefully he can keep his play at the current level it is. I felt he should've been on the last one. Yes I know they won the gold, doesn't mean the team wouldn't have been even better with MSL.

As for the goalies, Price is the obvious starter. I would have Luongo as #2. #3 would be Ward or Fleury.

At this point, how can Yzerman leave him off? He's done nothing but produce since being snubbed last time. I don't think I'm being a homer in saying he is the best Canadian winger in the game, and he's showing no signs of slowing down.

Assuming Luongo hasn't fallen off the face of the Earth by next year, he will be the starter. He won gold last time and Team Canada is faithful to a fault to it's goaltenders.

He may very well lose his job mid-tournament like Brodeur did in 2010, but he will be given every opportunity to be Canada's starter.

Stamkos and Giroux on the same line is something that I'm itching to see just as a hockey fan.

I'd have Bergeron over Seguin and that's not even close. Marleu has a shout too, if keeps going like he has done early in the season.

I'd consider taking Brian Campbell on board, he'd be great on larger ice.

In goal Smith and Luongo sound better than Fleury and Ward at the moment.

Is Babcock going to be back as a coach? If not, who else? Julien, Hitchcock, Quenneville?

Bigger ice surface needs more speed. Mike Richards shouldn't be on this team.

I think Eberle probably does deserve a spot on this team.

Luongo not being on the team is puzzling considering the guys who are there instead of him.

Spezza's redundant. There will be enough offensive power from the top two lines and the defensive core. Truly believe two-way stalwarts like Bergeron and Toews are more important to anchor the bottom 6.

Seabrook is making that team over Coburn

Surprised he left Bergeron off the list, the guy can play any role you ask of him.

I agree St Louis deserves to be on the team, is Seguin going to be better than him in a year from now? I doubt it. I know Marty is old now but he's not slowing down.

Benn should be in the top 12 by then.

My god, they're stacked though. Ridiculous amount of talent on that team. Their 4th line (hell their depth players) would be 1st liners on pretty much every other Olympic team.

Could be like 50/50 he makes it. MSL would probably have to play top 6 to make the team. I agree that he's probably the best Canadian winger, maybe 2nd best. But for the Olympics, centres are always moved to the wing due to such great depth down the middle. That might mean MSL won't make it. Plus he'll be another year older, and if he goes under PPG like he did last season, that's more reason not to put him in. However, the fact that he has great chemistry with Stamkos is definitely something good since players don't have much time with eachother, if MSL and Stamkos are on the same line then that is instant chemistry.

Seguin is also a questionable choice, but he might grow into the role by next year

Why would you put Dan Girardi in the lineup and Marc Staal on the bench?????
