We dominated them in chances but Rask dominated us.
Markov really annoyed me tonight. Cole was awful and un-creative, Gionta wasn't very good, and Plekanec had a rough game. We couldn't capitalize on any of our chances, end of story.
As soon as Armstrong missed that incredible Eller pass and a wide open net right at the start, I had a bad feeling. As the missed chances around the net kept piling up, figured it would bite us in the ass. And it did.
Horrific coverage on both Bruins goals as our team was just sleeping to start the 3rd.
The habs burried their chances as often as Gervinho does with Arsenal. For those who don't get it; Means that the Habs weren't able to bury and clear cut chances.
A game like this was bound to happen, also hit a hot goalie.. You can't win them all. Its just unfortunate that it had to happen against Boston. Rip this page out of the notebook and move on.
Just don't agree. Rask was great in the 1st. We went sleeping for 2 freakin periods after that. An awful game based on the fact that we were the best team in the 1st and should have build on that for the rest of the game. This reminded me of the past years' teams when we tried...but if we didn't succeed fast, we gave up. We gave up tonight. Unacceptable.
don't let the bipolar *****es tell you different, it was great game, well played by the habs. hot goalie, tons of missed chances, opportunistic goals by the bruins. would watch again, A+
-Insert little girl joke here, despite the Pleks line being the best for 2 periods.
- Pacioretty and Cole were useless.
- Emelin was horrible
- Dominating games means **** if you can't score goals.
On the other hand
-Markov was good.
-Subban was good.
-Eller was good.
-We outplayed them for a whole period!
Looking forward to a long season of our teams battling it out tooth and nail for the Northeast just like it always should be! God I missed this rivalry.
