that game was such a let down. not just because we dominated and lost (Rask looked good, imagine being the Leafs these days? Rask, Seguin, Hamilton...the Bs can thank TO for a lot of their future) but also because it was pretty damn boring.

on to the next, we're still a good team/in good position for this sprint to the playoffs

I blame the lack of triple low 5s for the crowd's amorphism.

This reminded me of the past years' teams when we tried...but if we didn't succeed fast, we gave up. We gave up tonight. Unacceptable.
Solid assessment. The 2nd and 3rd periods were nasty. This team came out flat... Incomprehensible.

Seriously, did it feel like a game between two huge rivals?

It always ends this way: One team dominates the other, getting chance after chance but not getting goals, and then the other team wins.

The game was lost because they only played for 55 minutes. First 5 minutes of the third was just atrocious

But remember, we outplayed them for most of the game, we could have had easily 4+ goals. We played strong against a strong teams. A lot of positives to take away from this loss. There is still improvements to be made, but, least the Habs didn't get out worked (for the most part)

Rask held them in during a terrible first period and we let up on the pressure. Why Therrien limited the Gally/Prust line I have no idea. Galchenyuk is our most dynamic forward and he needs to realize it. The kid does not need to sheltered but unleashed.

Ryan White... I think he couldve been a positive factor in this game. There was no fire.

One of the slugs need to go in the press box... Army or Moen..

lots of positives. Firstly we can play with them to the end. Second we simply didn't capitalize. Two missed breakaways. Even though we now have a pack mentality and puck battle, we're not big enough in our top 6 to play dump and chase with them. gio, pleks, DD all looked over-mated tonight. and lastly we simply fell asleep for two minutes and that was it. they played a perfect road game and relied on their goalie. that's it.

* Cole is so streaky. He seems interested one shift, then the next shift just glides around. His effort this season has been worse than Kovalev. No joke.

* We need to stop dumping and chasing so much. We are losing so much puck possession because we can't get it back. We need to carry the puck sometimes. Switch it up.
If the other team has 4 guys lined up at the blueline, you HAVE to dump it, trying to beat them leads to turnovers and goals...taht's Boston's "rope a dope" style.

Also, Cole reminds me of Cammy last year.

The Bruins played 10 minutes and won the game

Markov had a bad game tonight, I don't know if it's cause of the ice but he was struggling with the puck tonight and he made an awful play at the end by taking the shot when we had 15+ SECONDS. I don't know why Therrien played the Desharnais line so much tonight, Cole and Pacioretty aside from one or two plays were invisible. Emelin was bad defensively tonight, the first goal was his fault. Bourque played a good game but I think he caught the Higginsotis, how many chances does he need to bury it? Anyway I thought Eller was our best player tonight even tho he barely played. On to the next game although if this team had capitalized on more than 1/4 of their chances I wouldn't be here complaining right now.

I pissed on Bourque for the 2 goals but he may have been the best player out there tonight for the Habs.

Markov has lost some mojo, need to get the Diaz pairing working again.

Momentum speaks loudly. This is Thierrien's loss. Needs to happen to improve for the more important last 10 games if the season.

Quite simply, w could have won the game in the first 10 minutes. ***** happens.

Both Boston goals were scored because either Markov or Emelin missed their defensive assignments. On the first goal, Emelin was covering Seguin then suddenly let him skate away and he ended up scoring. On the second Boston goal, Markov was late covering Krecji.

They should switch him with gally. Gives Gionta some easier minutes and makes the gally line not so ****ing retarded defensively.

The Gally Prust line struggled tonight. They had a couple of shifts where they struggled to get out of our end and didn't create much offense.
