To me, Pacioretty has been a lot more dissapointing than Cole. The guy is utterly useless out there. Can't complete or receive any passes, doesn't hit at all. He pretty much kills the PP everytime he's there and he's not shooting! IMO our worst forward.
Anyway it was a good game. We're gonna bounce back.
he had a ****ing appendectomy a week ago. our fan base is nuts
well maybe it would light a fire under coles ass. Who cares if he's a vet? why be so politically correct? By not sitting anyone who is playing horrible is enabling them to think they can suck and still play
Personaly I don't mind sitting Cole but we rarely see something like that in the NHL. I think if the coach wants to punish him, he'll probably put him on a lower line.
I didn't say Bouillon was the reason we lost. I am just saying why even bother with the guy. He makes me nervous out there. Give someone else a chance. Bouillon has had his better days.
I have yet to remember a play where he completely messed up or any reason he gave anyone to feel nervous with the puck. Not the biggest fan of the signing, but he's been surprising to say the least, so far.
I can agree with all that. I just texted a friend to re-unite the gorges-subban pairing.
Only thing I'm not sure on is where you're putting Eller. If you want that line to be better at ES, I would assume you're putting Galchenyuk back on the wing?
Eller on wing probably. Maybe him at center for d zone draws. Eller is OK on wing IMO if he gets a few games to adapt. That`s the only move available to make that line better. This isn`t a necessary move, but could be something to try.
Otherwise, just keep things as is, maybe swap Armstrong for White. Habs just went toe to toe with the best or 2nd best team in the East and looked entirely equal with them. There isn`t any big problem here.
and also...some people were saying that the PP wasn;t where it should be, but keep in mind that boston has the 2nd ranked PK in the NHL. so..ya know...to get one is good....we just didn`t capitalize...chinup people..this one teeny tiny loss doesn`t change anything...we`re headed in the right direction...just feels like a huge loss cause its boston, but its not. the best thing for a team when they suffer a close loss is to jump right back up there...and fortunately enough we get the sabres tomorrow.
