Cole has ability, but boy oh boy is he stubborn.

This started with his argument with Hamrlik. Cole just can't let go of silly little arguments.

Somewhere in the back of his mind, this, coupled with the retirement comment is still playing out.

Did I ever say it would? It would merely elevate cap space that could he used on a player who will actually contribute and not play horrible defensively. We have too many defensemen anyway.
