I don't think New Jersey (or anyone else) wants Cammy for his price tag and the way he is playing right now. John Merril would be a great return. He's an ass, but he's mean and nasty and we could use some of that in the coming few years.

I'd give Cammy some time he is a streaky guy, I think by the deadline he will have caught fire and teams will be willing to trade for him.
Today i was offered ganger for cammy by an oilers fan, personally i think i would accept this deal, would anybody else go for this deal?
I would for 2 reasons. The cap savings and that I think moving a winger for a centerman makes sense for the Flames, it may allow Tanguay to go back ot the wing.

I don't want tanguay to go back to the wing yet, he is almost %50 at faceoffs he has been great defensively and while playing center he has got alot more confidence which has lead his shots per game to go from 1.3 to 2.6.

almost 50% when 3 of our opponents are bottom third in faceoffs. hardly impressive and it will continue to drop as we face better faceoff teams. I also doubt Tanguay will maintain that amount of shooting over a full season

This team could really use a centerman. I would atleast consider this. Straight up right now Cammy is better, but if you look at the future with the age factor, it does get interesting.
Not a big fan of Cammalleri especially with how he's been playing, but adding a small centre like Gagner, who's also quite bad at faceoffs, just doesn't seem like a good idea.

He has higher value than Iginla as far as I am concerned, so start with 1st + great prospect.
There is a belief that on top of being awarded the NMC that to get the cap hit what it is Feaster also had to promise he would never ask Glencross to waive his NMC.
Who would you be looking to unload?
