Habs and the ever so "competitive offer"
damn I tired of that. Habs make competitive offers to big names, but end up signing Dandeneaults and what not.
I say the hell with big names and work on improving our team with solide trades and good drafting. anyways, no big name free agent wants to play here, why waste time making offers they'll never accept.

I think Montreal city and team alike would be in a lot better shape if the Ontario border was moved a couple hundred km to the east. Meh, it just popped into my head so forgive me.

uh elias was the MOST attractive free agent for us this season, but he decided to resign with his original team...so why blame gainey? I'd rather have us try to attain the best players and fail as opposed to overpaying for a marginal player and totally ruin our team.
