Well not retired but according to Mo "very unlikely he will pitch this year"
I thought he said that if he had any set backs during the offseason he wouldn't try to rehab it and would likely retire. I think we've seen the last of Carp. It's a shame.

It really is, they said the only reason he will go on DL and not retire is because if he was to retire he would forfeit $12.5 mil. Carp will def stay in STL and find a spot in the orginization though
Yeah, he is effectively retried now. Not a nice way for his career to end, but sadly one that was all too predictable.
Hopefully he does find a spot in the organisation to stick around. Met him at a Blues game a few years back, you can tell by looking at him that he used to be a defenseman
I absolutely loathe that we picked up Titus Young. Not a player I want on my team. If the draft went my way we would end up with:
Danny Amendola
Keenan Allen, 1st round WR from Cal
Chris Givens
Austin Pettis
Brian Quick
Lance Kendricks
Joesph Fauria, 2nd/3rd round TE from UCLA.
No need for a basket case like Titus Young.
----------
SLU with its third straight victory of 17 points or more. I really wish Mizzou would schedule the Billikens because I think SLU would beat them, especially at Chaifetz. SLU definitely will be in the dance if they keep playing like this.

Yeah, to me it signals that they are looking mostly at internal or low cost options at WR. They do have some guys with promise, to be sure, but we have heard that so many times before.
The Young signing doesnt bother me so much because he does have some potential, but we still lack that consistent, proven guy at receiver.
Phil Pressey is the Blaine Gabbert of basketball. Some team is going to draft him fairly high based on his numbers. Soon, they will realize how much he is not a winner nor ever will be.
Speaking of representing the area...
T.J. Moe had a slow 40, 4.7s but was tops in all the quickness drills and bench press
Zavier Gooden rocked his workouts being at or close to the top in every event
Sheldon Richardson did really well and only helped his draft status
Alklha, you had pretty good information about the Rams draft last year, are you hearing anything about this draft?
After the combine, trading up seems to be much more in play. You'd think the Rams have to be high on guys like Jonathan Cooper and Lane Johnson, and we probably won't be able to get either at 16, especially Johnson.
I cannot understand why for the life of me people would rather take a guy who will be like Devin Hester or Darren Sproles over a guy like Keenan Allen or Justin Hunter.
