...must have taken his shirt off again somewhere. Seems to get 'em every time....
Yeah, definitely something Freudian going on there...
BTW, I drove to Northampton at 4 p.m. and they were talking about Gronk. Got back in the car at 7:20 and they were talking.... about Gronk.
Today, with the Bruins in Montreal to play the Canadiens, I just checked EEI and the Sports Hub. Mut and Merloni are talking Red Sox and promise to take Sox calls in the upcoming hour, and Gresh (my God his voice is awful) is bellowing something about NFL wide receivers and Wes Welker. ::click::
Not even talking about the game tonight, who ****ing cares about the Pats off-season right now.
The B's and Habs are battling for the division and it's the first game of the year and they aren't talking about it. Such ****ing frauds on this station, Gresh, Zo, Felger, Mazz all will pretty much ignore the Bruins until playoff time.
Once it's playoffs they'll hop right back on the bandwagon and pretend they care again, until then it's all about the ****ing Pats.
Sorry, I needed to rant about this ****. Pisses me off how little the Bruins still get talked about.

"Our cannolis are better, our restaurants are better, our women are more beautiful, and tonight we are going to show them, that your hockey team is more talented."

Football is easily the most popular sport in America. The 2nd most popular sport is Football offseason. Sports radio is a business, and football talk is easily the subject that the most people can relate to.
If you want in depth hockey discussion you have two options. Satellite Radio or moving to a city with no NFL team.
so... it's the other POV, but the Mtl station is talking all Habs-Bruins. hell, I'll listen just to laugh.
ETA: or what Crossfire said...
i listen all the time. I end up finding more about the B's then I would from listening to local sports radio. its to bad.
But the other part is listening to reasons why they DONT like the bruins, the fact that hte bruins have to rough teams up in order to win but then credit flopping as " do anything to win".
It makes for good radio. Right now one of the guys wants to call out jack edwards for a fight lol
What is the over/under today on how many minutes into discussing the game last night that on Julien's line adjustments that Felger says "What took him so long."?

He actually gave Julien credit for something last week, trying to recall what it was

I actually think he'll give him kudos for that move, but kill him for a different one. He's going to jump all over the Greg Campbell on the second line for Marchand, and rightly so. That was a terrible idea. He should have slotted Spooner up and left Campbell where he was. At least Spooner would have fit in stylistically better than GC in place of Marchand. It was a terrible, terrible idea, IMO.

on paper I agree with you, But knowing Julien is a defense first guy and he puts bergeron out against the other teams best line most of the time It makes me understand why he did what he did.
Campbell is the "safe" play

He's also going to flip out about Spooner seeing PP time, even though he has no idea who Ryan Spooner actually is.

I agree with all of this, but come on man we all knew Spooner was going to at least start on the 4th line As the 15 year old just mentioned, Campbell was the safe defensive choice to play on the Bergeron line.

Actually Mike from Attleboro called in last night to F&M and made a great point. Why does the Bergeron, Marchand, and Seguin have to be the shut down line? Peverly and Kelly are both great PK guys, so why don't they draw the defensive assignments and let PB's line try to be more offensive? Safe isn't going to get them where they need to be.

Sure, but it's exactly why Felgie is going to kill him, IMO...

It's sad that this argument is so simple, and so logical...and I never once considered it until just now.
I'll just take the easy way out and blame Chris Bourque
