Some of these proposals are Rediculous! I can't even read this garbage anymore. Teams would kill for Eberle.

I'd say they just needed to get Arcobello back to OKC for the game they have coming up tomorrow... that roster down in OKC is paper thin with all the call-ups to the Oilers and Arco is clearly their best offensive asset.

Maybe Tambo is going to make a deal for an extra centre for the Oilers but I doubt Arcobello going back down to OKC has anything to do with that.

I think we should just all agree to ban proposals involving Eberle, RNH, Yakupov, Hall and J.Schultz.

They aren't getting moved.

Here's a hockey trade.

Whitney and Omark to Detroit for Abdelkader and a pick.

Wings get two reclamation projects (in which they love) and the Oilers get a feisty guy for their bottom 6 who loves to crash and bang. With Tootoo in Detroit I think he could be expandable.

Bergeron is not overrated. This guy is a winner every where he has been. Great all round player.

He's won almost everything

I agree. I wish we could separate the proposals and rumors. I hate having to read a bunch of mind numbing proposals looking for a rumor.

I like sam but we need more grit in our top 6.
I approve of this post That is a trade that would work out very well for us IMO.

Maybe I don't watch enough colorado games, but I just don't see why everybody has a love in for ROR. He seems like an averaged sized center, without a lot of grit in his game, who isn't nearly as talented offensively as gagner, but better defensively. He's slightly bigger and better defensively than Gagner, but that's it.

I agree we need more grit in our team, but I don't see ROR as the solution. He seems like a perfect 3rd line C for us to be honest, but we couldn't afford him long term.

I must be missing something though, because everybody seems to rerally like ROR.

Boyle has been playing on the wing lately, and now is a healthy scratch. I wonder what he would cost from NY?

Their PP has struggled lately. Maybe a deal around Whitney?

I'm against moving Gagner, even for a guy like ROR. He's part of the core.

Also, by keeping Gagner, he can continue playing the point on the PP. That allows us to get some more toughness on the back end, instead of seeking another puck mover.

IMO only way we get RoR is an offer sheet. 2 year 10 mil?

Would love to get Boyle.

Add another faceoff specialist like Steckle as well, and the team could possibly improve their bottom 6 a bit.

I'm ok with keeping Gagner and upgrading the wings. His FO need to improve, but with how he's improved other aspects of his game this season (puck protection, defensive contribution), I think he can do that in due time.

Came here to post this. Would definitely be targeting this guy. Don't know what they would want (maybe jones and peckham?) but i would give them probably even an overpayment if that is what it took.

To the poster who posted Whitney for Abdelkader: I think this is a great trade that would definitely help both teams.

Another guy i would go for is Dorsett. Columbus is also hurting on D so maybe Whitney + for him.

As a side note how sad is it that whitney might not even be enough to get Dorsett

A 6'4 puck moving defenseman with an expiring contract will always have some value.

Just takes one guy who thinks he needs a change of scenery.

Tim Whatley is a big fan of David Steckel.
