Superb save from Lyle on a 3 on 1 . PP for us too many men on the ice.

Still very proud of them. If only we could get more rinks, better junior coaches we would be right up there.

Got to get one back here come on. Make it just a little bit more respectable. - even though this is probably what we expected in terms of a score.

Pretty good goal but everyone is standing still on the PP... somebody has to move their legs. Probably the result of these guys being use to big shifts in the EIHL? Donno how to keep the shifts short and powerful?

Well done boys. Two goals is a fantastic reward for their work.

Fatigue setting in. Can't blame them. The opposition have all the advantages from the very first time they step onto the ice as kids.

And no Weaver or indeed Longstaff too.

Farmer in the bin. Myers as well checking from behind. Silly.

End of the game frustrations most probably. But we really need to keep out of the box more.

6-2 is a little harsh on the team I think. Something around 5-2 would've been fairer but the team played really well and to score 2 goals is good. PK's hurt us so that's something to be improved but some positives.

lol I have this argument all the time in NA, why is he standing 3 feet from the boards with his back turned? You have to protect yourself... IIHF always overreact so obviously he was tossed

Immensely proud of them.

Let's hope Sport GB see some sense and help with more funding and somehow the national programme gets moving ahead further. More rinks, more coaches, more kids playing.

I reckon we can nick a win against France. Kazakhstan to win it.

Keeping it close against Kazakhstan and France and maybe taking them to OT would be good for us. Hopefully this exposes more people to it and we can get more players interested.

Lots of positives to be taken from that game, remember Latvia are ranked #11 in the world.

If we play like this in the WC's promotion is a very achievable goal

Bartulis has more success in his career than whole GB team combined

Very true. Our weakness was our PK/Penalties.

Good hustle, good offensive zone awareness too.

If we play like that next in the WC's then we stand a good chance.

That's all I see this tournament as. Very good preparation for the WC's and good exposure for the sport, qualification was always a pipe dream.

Agree. Would've been a miracle to qualify and if we had have of gotten through we would've been embarrassed most likely by most teams.

Looking at the WC group I see no reason why we can't give it a good go. We should be able to beat Japan, South Korea and Hungary. Italy and Kazakhstan are the ones where it'll be harder but no reason why we can't beat them.
