He's talking lik it's a done deal. Not even a tryout.

I'm confused now. Where does he fit? Starter LW? We already have Mapp and Smith there.

He is a good video about Andres Romero. He is an intresting player. He can play the wing position which is good.

I think the team don't see Mapp and Smith as default starters. Given Mapps reduced salary they can afford to use him as depth.

IF they play 4-3-3 they need a more technical, creative winger than Mapp, so It makes sense the this guy would fit the role.

But its too early to tell, we'll have to wait until the weekend to know what they are really thinking.

He's gona be a striker that can play outside as well. More and more I am starting to believe that Schallibaum does want to play a 433. If we can find a way to put aside Arnaud and Mapp, we have the players for a 433 system. Speedy wingers that can Cross, create chances fr others, create chances for themselves and obviously stretch a back line. If you look at Pisanu (who played in a wing system at Bologna), Smith who was drafted as a Winger and Nyassi, all of these guys are wings players To add up on that, two stikers in Romero and Wenger that can play both positions (atleast we hope so). The advantage of having strikers playing wing is even better, as it keeps the opposing back line honnest. When you play wingers who can't finish, you tend to be more lax. When you play against systems that stretch you and create problems for your GK, that's a whole new story. Well see.

I just don't think we're as good with Mapp and Arnaud on the wings, whether it is in a 433 or a 4231, than the team could be. I remember our match against RSL last season. Their wingers tormented our back line and really got me envious

Lets give this new player a chance, Felipe had nothing to excite us either and he surprise everybody.

I will not judge him and Pisanu until they have played a couple of regular season games.

At least in the Disney tournament we gonna have a sneak peek.

Di Vaio, Romero, Pisanu and Wenger as available players to play up front could be really interesting.

Mapp and Arnaud if we need to use them we can switch to a 4-2-3-1. The coach was talking about switching from a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1 depending on the players available and stuff like that.

No matter what system our starting line up should me more solid compare to last year and our depth is of better quality too.

“@impactmontreal: Le milieu de terrain brésilien Eber Henrique Ferreira De Bessa à l'essai avec l'équipe en Floride #IMFC”

I want that name on my shirt. Defensive mid playing for Cruzerio B squad. Has a 80 potential on fifa13, so he can't be that bad Played for BC Haken last year, the team we faced in the disney pro tourney. (Read this part on twitter)

Heres a vid on Romero. If I base myself on the sequence at 38 seconds, this guy is one hell of a dynamic and skillful player. You can lose confidence and your form in Soccer, but you can't lose technical ability. Especially when you are only 23

Is the tournament in Florida going to be streamed again this year? When does the tournament start?

If we're to strengthen our midfield I'd rather sign a DP in summer.

Even after this guy we still have 1 or 2 international slots. So no big deal.

Don't know much about the Brazilian with the way too long name, but Romero looks like a freackin steal for a player that's not a DP. 5 goals in 6 games is oustanding in any good 1st divsion league. He and Pisanu cover what was our biggest need, wingers. Now Smith, Ilcu and Wenger can develop in a way less stressfull envirement.

Kid is FAST! It'll be great to have a striker quick on his feet. I think he'll make a remarkable pair with Felipe.

I agree. Hes exactly the kind of player I have been looking for the whole time eversince I saw Fabian Espindola destroy our back line when we played RSL. Hopefully he can settle in. Being talented and all that is fine, but I hope he can cope with the MLS' physicality/game style

Unless they changed it from last year, it will be at night. I was at school from 8 to 5 last year, and I remember watching all games

From the clip posted here, I thought he seemed to protect the ball really well. As you said, we'll have to wait and see, but my hopes are high.

I'm sure weekday games are at night. The weekend games will be a day, so I guess it is possible that it is at 3. SKC will be a real good first test

We just need to keep in mind that youtube can make any player look good...well, except Justin Braun.

Matt Jordan said in an interview that we're over the cap and that we have until 1st of March to be compliant.

Somebody will have to go. It has to be either Mapp or Arnaud.
