I always will. He's my favorite player ever.

So we're 7-1-1, we're winning tight games, and now we have enough money to add another star.

I love this team.

Loved what he helped this team accomplished, but ended badly. I'm OK with him, don't love him anymore

Move is cap-related -- #Isles needed to be over the floor by tomorrow, needed insurance against not being cap compliant the entire season.

To Dom or anyone else in the know: what date to the Islanders have to toll that contract, or has that date already passed?

Kind of wanted him to retire a B, but I'll take a 2nd rounder instead

Conditional pick - Thomas won't play, we won't get anything.

I thought the floor was $44m this year? Isles are at 49..

Maybe I have my numbers wrong.

Or they toll it indefinitely and never have to actually reach the cap floor, at least until he makes his retirement official. If he does plan on playing next year, this could be a problem for him, now he'll be stuck on the island like nabby.

Thomas's salary still counted against the cap this year even though he's suspended?

I guess Visnovsky isn't included if they're below the floor.
