Vanek and Hamilton for just Nugent Hopkins? Definitely the Vanek side is better. The way Vanek is playing he's probably one of the top players in the league right now.

I think there's no doubt that RNH has more future upside than Vanek. It's just a question of whether the difference between them is equivalent to what Hamilton brings to your team. My first reaction is to take the deal, but you'll have to decide how much you value Hamilton.

I agree 100 % with you. I would deal Vanek + for RNh but Hamilton is just too much. So in your case I wouldn't do the deal.
