Kudos to Redden's 1000 NHL game.

No more Nashville and after tonight, Detroit on the home schedule in this 48 game season.

Let's go Blues!

Interested to see the new lines. I do like McDonald and Stewart together, and it will be interesting to see how Schwartz and Tarasenko do together. Maybe the two rookies will have chemistry.

I could see these lines either booming or busting. No real in between.

This is an important game. Losing 3 in a row and falling to 6-4 would not be good. This is a real important one to win. Let's get revenge back.

I would have preferred Cole in instead of Redden.

Stewy needs to play on a line that can score off the rush and Mac is probably the best puck rusher on this team.

I expect a bounce back game in a big way, Elliott steps up FINALLY and the Blues win 5-1
2g and 1a for Frank
1g and 2a for Schwartz
1g and 1a for Petro
1g Steen
1g Oshie
4a for Shattendueces
I think you need a math refresher course lol

In my opinion, Redden and Cole are a wash. Neither have jumped out with their play, neither have made big mistakes.

In the case, you go with the experienced defensemen.

We should see nothing less than the Blues at their absolute best tonight. I'm really glad the 4th lines back to Vlad-Nichol-Reaves. It probably doesn't make all that much of a difference but that line seems really effective at least compared to some of the alternatives we've seen.

I won't get to watch because of my unfortunate obligation to the in-laws. Oh well, I'll be sneaking peaks on my phone. I hope they bring their game and Redden gets a goal. Go Blues!

Not sure I feel good about splitting up McDonald-Steen-Tarasenko, but I will happily eat crow if I'm wrong. Also, please ban any attempts I make in the "Predict the Score" threads because my first try with Nashville didn't go so well.

Rookie goalie tonight...They better welcome him with a slew of goals followed by the hook.

Petr Mrazek makes his debut tonight behind a Wings team on the slide. Gut says the kid will make some big saves for the first 10 minutes before the flood gates open.

Tarasenko finishes with 11 points, breaking Sittler's single-game points record on its 37-year anniversary.

Blues: 11
Wings: 2

Surprised they are starting Mrazek. That said, I always worry playing a rookie goalie. Could make players think it's gonna be an easy night. Mrazek can play, that for certain.

I remember last year the Blues always made backup goalies look good

so don't book a ton of goals...

Kind of how the Cardinals always make rookie pitchers look good.

Wasn't that goalie really good in the WJC for the Czechs?

Yes it is. Kid can play, which makes me nervous.
