One of my all time favorites. I can't wait for Tim Thomas Night at the Garden one day. Thanks for everything, Timmy.

The greatest goalie in the history of the Boston Bruins. Thanks so much for 2011. But before 2011 we were treated to watching you overcome all odds, prove EVERYONE (especially Latrappe) wrong. Your unorthodox style was the exact opposite of what was sought in a franchise goalie and still you overachieved. Then it was not overachieving, it was what we came to expect and TT delivered.

For whatever the reasons (and I know there are many) you decided to walk away. No hard feelings from this end...just a thank you.

I will never forget him and will be forever gratefull that he helped win the Bruins the Cup. I truly believe the Bruins would not have won, with any other goalie in their net.

I had always been worried that the Bruins wouldn't win the Cup in my lifetime, but because of TT and Co. I no longer have to worry about this.

Who was it that skated by and hit Tim in the back of the head while he was stretching during a commercial break ?.. Timmy went after him.

Tenacious, awesome goalie.

Fire from the net on out. Thanks for everything to a modern day sports hero.

Could care less about his views/opinions/beliefs off the ice. I watch this game to be entertained and I have always appreciated guys who bust arse and do whatever it takes to win and Timmy, without hesitation was that kind of a guy. That first year under Julien was, IMO, one of Timmy`s best with a team that hadn`t yet been fully developed

Didn`t like the way things end, but I`ll never allow that to have me turn on a guy who bled Black and Gold while he was here

A lengend is lost.

I will never forget what Tim Thomas and the 2011 Bruins gave the Bruins fan base.

Gone but never forgotten.

Thank you Timmy!

I would have liked Timmy to go out on a better note.

I hope he visits us sometime.

It was fun to see Tim and Tuukka interact during the games. I think Tuukka learned a few things.

I think I saw Timmy pick Bergy up off his feet and hug him after they won the cup...very sweet.

Living in VA, I don't often get to see the B's play in person, but I'm glad I did get to see Thomas several times. He worked his ass off to make it to the top, and he brought a lot of smiles to our faces in doing it.

Why do I feel so sad about Timmy finally being traded? Thank you for the memories, Tim Thomas. I wish things ended differently.

Thank you Timmy

Thanks for the memories Timmy. The Bruins would not have won the Stanley Cup in 2011 without you, and for that I'm forever grateful.

Same for me, but in Philly. Timmy literally never let me down. He was 9-0 @ Wachovia.

me and you to, I imagined him going into the HOF as a Bruins in one of the handful of crazy stories that building has ever seen- what a story was being written atleast to my liking. I would have made sure I was at it.

I'm with you its hard to believe less than 2 years ago this guy was on top of the world and now we are happy to see him traded to get cap relief and a possible draft pick- and to the Islanders
