I've always like Jochen Hecht. Great veteran player.

Sometimes a guy just lazily/recklessly rides a guy's numbers for a ride into the boards, but there ARE times when I notice defensemen not bracing/positioning themselves "properly" to make those kinds of plays while also making a play on the puck - if that's their decision in that situation. It kills me, but what are the refs to do, right? It's how they play defense these days (and forwards do it as a tactic to win puck battles, too).
I concur, giving up your back seems to be all too common nowadays...some of the onus of these boarding calls has to be put back on the player who turns intentionally.

I'd love for the refs to NOT make some of those calls, and tell the butt-hurt player not to offer his back if he wants to battle for the puck. Put a shoulder against the glass and do what you can to move the puck, "like they used to".

It's crazy how much time Cole spends looking for the puck in his feet.

Typical road game for the Habs, but if Sabres were more confident, we'd have a different game. Glad Eller is getting a shot with the Gallys. Goes to show that Mike doesn't really have people in the dog house for to long.

We're due for an injury. Seems like every other team has a few. Let's just hope Gorges and Moen aren't out long.

Like I've been saying for the past few games... Cole needs to GTFO.

Ellers been on top of the list the past few games in the effort department. Good to see him get rewarded for it. He should take coles spot next. Maybe playing his off wing would benefit him. Has he been tried on right wing before or just left?

Can Galchenyuk get a Prusterectomy?

Guy has no idea what to do in the offensive zone.
