u guys are pretty sour about him, duno why. Not like he really betrayed the Kings, just didn't seem to do well. Sure it could be from distractions, but he did pick it up towards the end of the year. Whatever motives that may be, the fact that he picked it up is always a good thing for our team.

He did betray the Kings. He took $5M, came to camp totally out of shape and spent most of the season partying. How exactly did he "pick it up" toward the end of the year? By getting off the injured list? He sucked from beginning to end.
Betrayal is intentional. Do you really think that he intentionally struggled?
I think he intentionally came to camp out of shape, intentionally partied all year and intentionally did not take earning his salary seriously. Struggling is just a by-product.

Responsibility and intention are two different things. JR is responsible for failing the Kings, but it doesn't make it intentional.
