Thanks for everything Timothe Vezina Smythe Stanley Thomas!

Best goalie I've ever seen.

LOVED it. Funny some of the other B's didn't see what happened to cause Timmy to react that way.

I'll admit I soured on him with some of the outside stuff but TT on the ice was something to admire. He was a great pleasure to watch and his insane abilities help to win us a cup. Thank you TT for all you've done for our team.

Started following him in 2007 because he won the Vezina in NHL 07 and after that I became a Bruins fan. He's the reason I'm now a diehard fan. Thank you Timmy for all you've given to the Bruins organization.

I've never seen a Boston goalie as good as Timmy when he was at his best. I'll miss Tim's reflective demeanor and ridiculously fun tending style.

the first thought i had, and it's posted in his "saves of the 2011 playoffs" video, was his save on steve downie.

best goalie that's ever played for my favorite team. will miss him but will probably watch his 2011 highlights for years to come.

i know he made this save. i watched this game and have watched the highlights of him making this save hundreds of times.

but i still see pictures of it and think it's witchcraft or something. how. the. ****. did. he. make. that. save. howthe****didhemakethatsave.

he's the closest guy to prime hasek i think we'll see in some time.

My namesake! At least on this forum

Was my favorite player, the consummate underdog, and guy you could root for and never doubt that he was giving 110%. I enjoyed watching him at UVM when I was a kid growing up, and him becoming a B's star, and the best goaltender in the league was an absolute joy. Good luck to him in future endeavors.

My only wish is that he could have come back for one more year, won another cup, and had a legit shot at having his name and number in the rafters.

God Speed, Timmy.

An end to a truly magnificent ride. Thank you for everything Timmy!

My favorite TT moments:

Winning the Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe
Hugging Marty St. Louis after the Tampa series at center ice
Leveling one of the Sedin's
The save on Downie
Waffling Sean Avery

I was so happy when I heard about the trade, but as the hours pass, I am growing more and more sad. Tim Thomas will never skate as a Bruin again.

We love you, Yukon Cornelius!

Definitely one of a kind! I loved how most told him he wasn't good enough, but he proved them all wrong. Already a legend in Bruin's folklore.

Will always be a Bruin and one of the very best from the last 30-40 years. His lights out play made the summer of 2011 the best one of my life. I will never forget his poise, tenacity, and Conn Smyth play. That is a very small sample indeed.

Thanks Timmy, I will always be a fan.

BTW, if its Timmy rather the Ryan 5-hole Miller, the USA has gold instead of silver. Dude is legendary.
