Here. Something happened.

(a new post or a new thread is the only thing that can happen here)

...but i'm pretty sure many interesting things are happening in Gainey's office, where it is supposed to. That doesn't mean everything is news...

We may overreact a little... But again, Gainey should concentrate in getting Garbo signed, should announce as well some Emelin's and O'Byrne signings and tell us that Kosty Jr. will have a shot for the Dogs.....

That would make my day for sure!

Gainey once signed Pierre Turgeon and Donald Audette for ridiculous contracts........ we learned from it.

I know i may be overeacting but i just spent the week watching his highlights from the last WC and he made me a believer and many of the posters from outside had comments like "future star" or " superstar potential". He needs to be signed ASAP.

Not everyone just hands around here waiting for a move to happen you know.

Some people enjoy discussing hockey and the Canadiens with other passionate fans, in both busy and quiet times.

If you hang around HF simply because you are waiting for a move to happen, and to find out about it here, then you have too much time on your hands. Go out and take a radio with you or something if you must.

This isn't the same as constantly refreshing RDS, TSN, or Sportsnet (which I do too btw lol).

Plus I'd be perfectly happy with nothing happening concerning the Habs. Not to mention that i find moves involving other teams very interesting as well, and in that regard, lots has happened.

Don't know how long you have been reading these boards (i signed up last year but had been reading them for ages before that), but if you joined two years ago, you'd have been here through the lockout. Then you'd realise that this is not too bad in terms of news. Reading three different threads a day about potential lines that might be used whenever the NHL started up again was not a buzz.

And speculating for over a year as to whether Kovalev would re-sign with us was painful. Major relief when he finally did. Mainly because then we could go back through all those lineup threads and definately put Kovalev on Koivus right wing. That just left about 20 other spots though

Look man, like Carbo said last night on CKAC, BG made offers too players but the 3 conditions why they won't come are the taxes, the climate and the pressure he said Montreal is not as popular as we think around the league but Carbo still stated that he's very confortable with the team he has because he said when you have rookies one year and they perform well they should perform better in their second year.
