At least that's what I saw.

It's not "too bad for White" that Ott turtled, it's too bad for the Habs that White is playing like an idiot and led to his team losing 2 games. Let's call a spade a spade here.
Watch Ott early in that shift with Gionta at the far boards. White did the right thing at the wrong time, at least he didn't get another 2 minutes for f bombing, he learned that lesson the hard way, as he will this one.

DD sucks has well, and plays soft this year. Both should be gone at some point if we hope to be cup contender.

Someone should tell White about the concept of taking a number...it might be beyond him, though.

Next 4 games: Toronto, TB, Florida, and Philly.

Tampa scares me the most to be honest.

White is the new Begin. Really disgusted with the guy. Cost us two games already. We had the game at 4-2.

Gallagher.....double minor.

Then we had a nice little run of Armstrong, Bourque, Cole and Gionta.

And the reactionaries want to blame White because Budaj let in a goal while he was in the box and played stellar defense while the other Habs were in the box.

Makes ****ing logical sense.

And then, blame White because Tim Peel refused to call an interference penalty on Ott.

Ott is laughing his ass off. He went low on White and then wimped out and kept his gloves on.

Normal hockey fans would direct their anger at Ott or the referee. But here, we have the honor of directing the anger at Ryan White.

Allsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess this fanbase deserves a return to the good old days of Jacques Martin where toughness was non-existent and good old fashioned Canadiens ass whippings were the norm.

But lets run Ryan White out of Montreal. Amazing.
Indeed we should when you get hit you get back up and ****in skate you don't drop gloves like a freakin headcase.

The sabres were completely out of the game and this 4 minutes gave them a lucky goal but still a goal after that anything can happen on a shot.

White cost the habs 1 point, we are not the freakin pens that are sure to make the playoffs we are a bubble team and all points counts.

That's not toughness that's being plain dumb.

Budaj is Gauthier's choice. I'm sure Bergevin is looking forward to sign a real number 2 at the end of the season.

And I still remember that when Budaj was signed, Martin Biron was still a UFA...

On top of everything else tonight, Ott's hit on him was clean! Jesus Christ.

And the refs...good lord. Small wonder the NHL officiating is seen as a joke by so many. Bourque falls into Rask when the puck is nowhere near him last night and gets a goaltender interference penalty. Ott is literally standing on top of Budaj and somehow that's permissable. Give me a ****ing break.

Finally, Budaj himself - the stat line says it all. 9 goals against in 2 games, plus 2 more in the shootout. Horrific.
Did you happen to see Ott going after our TEAM CAPTAIN the entire shift?

I guess so many of you are so used to our TEAM CAPTAIN being abused without doing anything about it that it is the norm for people like you.

After roughing up Gionta, Ott went low on White.

But hell, give Ott a pass and take out your frustrations on Ryan White. And while you are at it, give Tim Peel a pass for that no call at the end.

Feel better?

I stand by my views, and i am being proved right. The same people that are defending Plekanec are the ones that loved AK. Soft players.

How many more games do we have to lose before White learns the lessons that should have been beaten into his head back in junior?

I have very few people on ignore. He's one of them though. If you're going to choose somebody to ignore, Patofqc is a very good choice.

God forbid we run the almighty, do-no-wrong Ryan White out of town. Talk about a hole we'll be trying to fill for years.
Yeah he did. And he'll pay for it.

Let's not lose our minds over this though.

Kinda reminded me of Tucker there. I hope this doesn't become the norm with White, cuz he isn't a bad player.

Did the boisterous yahoos persuade Therrien to reinsert White in the lineup? Their wish fulfillment dream culminated in our nightmare. What can be done with White? Clockwork Orange aversion therapy? How about dousing him with whiteout correction fluid (if that's still on the market)? It's fortunate I still had some cold beers left in the fridge but I fear the numbing effect will wear off shortly.

Was Budaj equally to blame for the debacle? I'd say others shared in it. Apart from White's sabotage there was the enfeebled defense and the officials' permissiveness toward the Sabres.
